• PROLONGED USE OF THE HEATING PAD AT A HIGH SETTING COULD LEAD TO SKIN BURNS.
• DO NOT COVER THE HEATING PAD WITH ANY OTHER CUSHIONS. THE CONTROL SHOULD NOT BE COVERED OR PLACED ON OR BELOW THE HEATING PAD WHILE IT IS IN OPERATION.

• KEEP THE POWER CORD AWAY FROM HOT SURFACES.
• NEVER CARRY, PULL, OR TURN THE HEATING PAD BY THE CORD AND DO NOT LET THE CORD GET TANGLED.
• ONLY USE IT IN DRY ENVIRONMENTS NOT IN THE BATHROOM OR SIMILAR ENVIRONMENTS).

• DO NOT USE ON A HELPLESS PERSON, AN INFANT, OR A PERSON INSENSITIVE TO HEAT.
• CHILDREN NOT TO USE THIS APPLIANCE DUE TO THEIR INABILITY TO REACT TO OVERHEATING.

Use the Heating Pad

1. Plug in the power adapter, the digital display screen will light up showing “8”, and then turn off indicating the heating pad is in standby mode now.
2. Press the Power Button to turn on the heating pad.
3. When the heating pad is turned on, press the Temperature + Button to increase the heating level (highest level: “6”).
4. When the highest level “6” is reached, you can press the Temperature – Button to decrease the heating level (lowest level: “1”).
5. 2-hour auto-off timer: The heating pad will stop heating and enter standby mode after 2 hours with “-” displayed.
6. The heating pad will restore to the original status when powered off or restarted.
7. Moist heat option:
   • Dampen either side of the heating pad with water by patting the surface with a wet sponge or cloth, or use a spray bottle to apply a fine mist. Do not thoroughly soak the pad.
   • Do not spray or dampen the pad connector.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Be sure to disconnect the appliance from the mains by removing the plug from the power outlet and cooling it down for at least ten minutes before cleaning.
• Use only a soft brush to clean the heating pad when dry
• DO NOT use strong detergents or hard brushes to clean the heating pad.
• Gentle Machine Wash: Select Gentle Cycle for Wool, detach the control connector, and then wash at maximum of 40°C/104°F.
• Untangle the cable from time to time.
• When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down. Store the unit in a clean and dry place, lay out fiat with nothing covering or resting on top of it.

Note:

• The connector of the controller and the pad must be interconnected before plugging the appliance to a power source.
• IMPORTANT – This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to rig this safety feature.

• Restart the heating pad after the controller is cooled down

Error code “5”| Ambient temperature below -22°F| Restart the heating pad after the ambient temperature returns to normal (above -22°F)

Warranty and Service

This product is covered with Evajoy product and labor warranty for 12 months from the date of its original purchase. If any problems occur, please contact the Evajoy Customer Care Centre via the contact information listed in this User Guide.

We can only provide after sales service for products that are sold by Evajoy or Evajoy authorized retailers and distributors. If you have purchased your unit from a different place, please contact your seller for return and warranty issues.
