UBTECH UKBTC01 Bluetooth Gaming Controller

Product Information

The product is a Bluetooth gamepad controller with the model name “UKBTC01” manufactured by UBTECH ROBOTICS CORP LTD. It operates at a temperature range of 0°C to 35°C and requires a 5V input with a frequency range of 2402MHz to 2480MHz. The maximum control distance is 10 meters in an open environment. The Bluetooth version used is 4.0, and it has a battery capacity of 550 mA.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. To switch the main mode from the mode (L2+R2+Bluetooth button)
    • Ensure that the Bluetooth gamepad is not connected.
    • Press and hold the combination key (L2+R2+Bluetooth button) for 5 seconds.
    • After 5 seconds, the four indicator lights will flash rapidly.
    • Release the button to switch the Bluetooth gamepad to slave mode.
    • To switch back to the master mode, simply restart the handle.
  2. To calibrate the joystick (L1+R1+Bluetooth button)
    • Ensure that the Bluetooth gamepad is not connected.
    • Press and hold the combination key (L1+R1+Bluetooth button) for 5 seconds.
    • After 5 seconds, the three red indicator lights will flash rapidly.
    • Release the button to initiate joystick calibration.
    • The joystick will rotate through 360 degrees, and the three indicator lights will turn off, indicating successful calibration.
  3. To pair the Bluetooth controller
    • Long press the switch button to turn on the Bluetooth controller. The blue indicator light will start flashing slowly.
    • Hold the Bluetooth controller near the controller you want to pair with.
    • Long press the Bluetooth button until the blue indicator light starts flashing rapidly.
    • Release the Bluetooth button to establish a Bluetooth connection automatically.
    • A solid blue indicator light indicates a successful pairing.

  1. Long press the switch button to turn on the Bluetooth controller, and the blue indicator light starts flashing slowly.
  2. Hold the Bluetooth controller near the controller you want to pair with, and then long press the Bluetooth button until the blue indicator light starts flashing rapidly. Release the Bluetooth button, and the Bluetooth connection will be established automatically. A solid blue indicator light indicates a successful pairing.

Combined keys

    • The default state of the Bluetooth gamepad is the master mode. When the Bluetooth gamepad is not connected and the combination key (L2+R2+Bluetooth button) is pressed, after 5 seconds, the four indicator lights will flash rapidly.

    • To switch back to the master mode, simply restart the handle.
  2. Joystick calibration button (L1+R1+Bluetooth button)
    • When the Bluetooth gamepad is not connected and the combination key (L1+R1+Bluetooth button) is pressed, after 5 seconds, the three red indicator lights will flash rapidly. Upon releasing the button, the joystick rotates through 360 degrees and the three indicator lights turn off, indicating successful calibration.
