SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read and follow the operating instructions carefully and keep them safe for later reference. Enclose this user manual and instructions when you give this appliance to someone else.

SAFETY INFORMATION & PRECAUTION INTENDED USE

• Use the appliance according to these instructions. Any misuse may cause potential injury, electric shock or other hazards.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
  • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments;
  • by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential-type environments;
  • breakfast-type environments;
  • farmhouses.
• Use the appliance only to boil or heat water. Never use it for other liquids!
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• This appliance may not be used by people of reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or without sufficient experience and knowledge (including children), unless they are supervised or instructed by adults who are responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children.

CABLES AND PLUGS

• Before use please verify that the electricity supply is the same as indicated on the rating plate of the appliance.
• Make sure that you always use an earthed wall socket to connect the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the main socket before moving the appliance and when the appliance is not in use.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket by pulling the plug, not the power cord.
• Check the appliance’s power cord regularly to make sure it is not damaged.
• Keep the cable away from heated surfaces.
• Certain parts of the appliance may get hot. Do not touch these parts to prevent burning yourself.
• Make sure that the appliance, the power cord, or the plug does not make contact with hot services, such as a hot hob or naked flame.
• Make sure that the appliance, the power cord, and the plug do not make contact with water.
• Do not pull the cable around sharp edges or corners.
• Do not use it with a damaged cable or plug! If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified engineer or authorized service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised. To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging high and that children do not have access to the appliance.
• Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own! Always contact an authorized technician.
• To avoid exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service, or by a qualified person with a cable of the same type.
• Use only original spare parts.

DURING USE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY

Risk of fire

• Locate your appliance away from the edge of the worktop, on a firm, flat, heat-resistant surface with sufficient space around all sides.
• The appliance needs space to allow heat to escape, thereby preventing the risk of fire.
• Make sure that the appliance has sufficient space around it, and does not come in contact with flammable material.

Risk of scalding
The appliance heats up during use.

• Make sure you only pick it up by the handle and never open the lid when the water is still boiling.
• The water level must be between the MIN. and MAX. marks!
• Fill the jug kettle with at least MIN level, 0.5 liters of water.
• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected, which might raise a hazard to the user.
• The jug’s lid must remain securely closed whilst the appliance is in use.

Risk of suffocation!

• Do not allow children to play with packaging material and protective film bags.

Risk of injury

• Misuse of the appliance can potentially lead to injury.
• Never use the appliance outdoors
• Use the appliance only to boil or heat water. Never use It for other liquids!
• Do not insert any objects into openings or cover the appliance.
• Do not switch on the appliance before you have filled it with water. Fill only with cold water.
• The appliance must not be covered.
• Make sure that your hands are dry before touching the appliance, power cord or plug.
• Never use the appliance in a humid room.
• Never immerse the appliance, the plug, or the power cord in water or other liquid.
• Do not pick up the appliance if it falls into the water. Remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and do not use the appliance anymore.
• Use solely the base supplied with the jug kettle. Never use the base for other purposes.
• Remove the jug from the base, and fill it with water from the tap. Do not overfill the kettle!
• When you wish to heat the water without it coming to a boil you can switch off the jug kettle at any time you require.
• This appliance may not be used through an external timer or by means of a remote control.
• Be careful you do not contact the hot water. It can cause serious burning wounds.
• Allow the appliance to cool to room temperature before cleaning, maintenance, or storage.
• Always remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning, maintaining or storing the appliance.

PACKAGE INCLUDES

Take out carefully the product and its accessories from the packing. Make sure that all components from the bellow list are included and they are in good condition. In case if any part looks deformed (might happen during transportation), please DO NOT use the product and contact with seller or directly with our great Customer Support Team directly at support@addacsacl.com.

SPECIFICATIONS

HOW TO USE

BEFORE FIRST USE FOR THE FIRST TIME

1. Remove the kettle from the packing box.

2. Remove all protective film bags and attention labels from the kettle and clean the outside with a damp cloth.

3. Put the power base on a stable, level surface.

4. Plug the power base into the wall socket. Adjust the length of the power cable by winding it under the base if is too long.

5. Hold the kettle by its handle and remove it from its base.

6. Fill the kettle to the MAX (maximum) mark with cold water.

7. Boil the water.

8. Discard the water then rinse with cold water.

9. Repeat three times up mentioned points 6, 7, and 8. This will help to remove possible manufacturing process residues, dust, etc., and will guarantee you to enjoy a great taste of boiled water with an Electric Kettle from AddAcsaCI.
   DAILY USE

10. Press the button to open the lid and fill it with cold water with the required volume of water for your use (please keep this in mind and always do your best to save energy), referring to the marks on the level indicator at least MIN (minimum) and a MAX according to the model.

11. Close the lid again, place the kettle down on its base, and push the switch On I Off in position I (On • to heat/ boil the water).

12. The blue LED light will come on and the kettle will start to heat.

13. Wait for the water to boil. When the water boils the kettle will switch off automatically.

14. Pick up the kettle by the handle and pour the boiling water into the desired recipient (cups, teapots, bowl with cereals, etc.).

    • Note: To switch off manually, move the switch On/ Off to position O (Off) or simply lift the kettle off the power base.

GENERAL HELPFUL INFO

When you lift the kettle, you may see moisture on the stand. Don’t worry- it’s the steam used to switch off automatically, which then condenses and escapes via vents under the kettle.
DANGER OF BURNS

• Wait a few seconds from when the kettle boils, then pour the water out slowly to prevent it from spraying or coming out too fast.
• Do not fill the kettle beyond the maximum level- risk of burns when pouring.
• Keep your face a safe distance from the lid to avoid the risk of burns from escaping steam.

TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS FOR THE USER

• Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water – this would risk causing severe damage to the appliance.
• Only boil the quantity of water required so as not to waste water, electricity, and your time.
• Always boil cold water to improve the quality of your hot drinks.
• To increase the appliance’s lifetime: Empty any remaining water from the kettle after each use. Regularly remove any scale from inside the kettle.

BOIL DRY PROTECTION

• If your kettle boils dry, a safety cut-out device will automatically switch it off.
• If this happens, unplug your kettle and allow it to cool down for at least 10 minutes before using it again.
• Allowing your kettle to boil dry will shorten the life of the heating element.

CLEANING & DESCALING

Before starting cleaning and maintenance, please make sure your appliance is unplugged from the socket.
Please follow the steps for cleaning:

1. Remove the plug of the kettle from the wall socket.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
3. Regularly wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth.
4. Keep the connector dry.
5. Open the lid.
6. Cleaning the filter.
   • Extract the filter.
   • Note: When washing the filter, make sure your hands are clean and free of any residue from soap, creams, or other products that could contaminate the water.
   • Wash the filter under running water with the aid of a soft brush.
   • Put the filter back in position behind the spout.
7. If the interior of the jug has become severely discolored, then the best way to clean it is with a damp cloth and a little washing soda. After cleaning, rinse the jug very thoroughly.
8. Never immerse the appliance in water.
9. Never put the appliance in a dishwasher!

ATTENTION: Improper use Risk of damaged surfaces!

• Do not use steam jets to clean the appliance.
• Do not use cleaning products containing chlorine, ammonia, or bleach.
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents (e.g. powder products, stain removers, and metallic scourers).
• Do not use rough or abrasive materials or sharp metal scrapers.

DE-SCALING

• This appliance is equipped with an integral heating element, and consequently lime-scale will be formed.
• The frequency of the de-scaling operation depends on the hardness of the water and on how often the appliance is used.
• If the machine switches off before the water boils, it probably needs to be decalcified.
• Regularly removing any deposits of scale inside the kettle will prolong your kettle’s life, ensuring maximum performance and energy savings.
• The kettle can be de-scaled using specific de-scaling products.

We recommend you use bellow following steps for de-scaling your kettle:

1. Add the de-scaling solution or can be and white vinegar (from 0.1 to 0.5 I depending on the amount of scale).
2. Fill the kettle with water to the MAX level and boil it.
3. Leave the kettle, and solution to act for at least 20 minutes or 2-3 hours. After this kettle is supposed to be clean and shining as new. In case if kettle is still not clean, we suggest adding a bit more solution for cleaning and repeating points 1 and 2.
4. Empty the kettle.
5. Fill the kettle with clean, cold water to the MAX level and boil it.
6. Empty the kettle, disposing of the water safely.
7. Repeat these operations, points 5 and 6, three times.
8. Then you can enjoy drinking the great taste of boiled water with AddAcsaCl’s kettle.

Tips and suggestions

1. Always use special de-scaling agents available from retailers or solely a white vinegar solution. Never use ammonia or other dangerous products to de-scale the appliance. These can be injurious to your health
2. Scale build-up can cause the kettle to switch off during use before the water has boiled. Boiling times could also be increased, which will increase your energy cost.
3. If the kettle is used daily, or if it becomes more difficult to pour out the water, d~scale the kettle and filter more frequently.
4. In some regions, the water is harder, and in these areas, it could have a cloudy appearance and leave residue on the walls of the kettle.

In this case, clean the inside of the kettle more frequently or use purified/ softened water. If You discover that your product is defective within the specified warranty period, firstly please contact your seller with a:

1. Copy of Your invoice and
2. Copy of Your order number.

Once your seller has approved Your request, please return the product with up mentioned copies. Do not dispose of your product before contacting Your Seller and get approved by them. WARRANTY INFORMATION

The terms of the warranty are as follows:

1. This product is manufactured under stringent quality control and inspection control by ADDACSACl’s partners.
2. Warranty void if product failure is a result of negligence or misuse by the consumer, shipping and service fees may be incurred even during the Warranty period.
3. The warranty must be presented (contact firstly with Your Seller or our Support Team) upon bringing/ sending the product for service.
4. Store the warranty in a safe place, as it cannot be reissued.
5. This warranty is valid only in the United Kingdom. We, AddAcsaCI Power, and our Partners assume no liability for damage caused by the use of the product other than for its intended use or as instructed in the user manual.

Note, this Warranty DOES NOT apply to the following:

• Damage due to: abuse, accident, alteration, misuse, or vandalism.
