About this instruction manual
Carefully read these instructions for installation and use, and keep them near
the sauna. This ensures that you can refer to information about your safety
and the operation at any time.

Symbols used for warning notices
In these instructions for installation and use, a warning notice located next
to an activity indicates that this activity poses a risk. Always observe the
warning notices. This prevents damage to property and injuries, which in the
worst case may be fatal.
The warning notices contain keywords, which have the following meanings:

This symbol indicates tips and useful information.
1.1. Safety information for the installer

Installation may only be performed by a qualified electrician or similarly qualified person.

Use otherwise than as intended can constitute a fire risk!

Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.

Commissioning is strictly prohibited if the light is damaged.

The light may only be operated outside of the packaging.

The light will become hot during operation. The external lamp housing will also become hot. Do not touch the light with bare hands during operation.

The product as a whole may not be modified or converted.
Modifications to the light invalidate the guarantee. -
If particular problems occur which are not dealt with in sufficient detail in these instructions for use, please consult your supplier for your own safety.
Installation and connection
Before commissioning the light, ensure that it has not been damaged in transit.
WARNING!
- The light must not be operated if it is damaged.
- The sauna lamp may only be installed and connected when the power supply is disconnected.
2.1. Installation
Keep the lamp housing in the desired installation position and mark the
boreholes.
Use appropriate screws to secure the light.
Ensure that no cables are damaged.
Conduct the power supply leads through the aperture of the lamp housing.
Ensure that the lead is cleanly and tightly conducted through the seal.
Now connect the connection cables of the domestic electrical installation to
the screw terminals of the light. First connect the green-yellow earth wire
and then the two other wires. As a rule, the brown (or black) cable is the
live wire, connect this to the terminal marked with ‘L’. The blue conductor
must be connected to the terminal marked with ‘N’.
Do not kink the cable; please ensure that the cable and plug are free from
attractive and torsional forces.
Protect all cables and insulations from possible damage.
Install the bulb (see 3.1. Changing the bulb on page 5).
The rating plate must not be removed.
Operation
3.1. Changing the bulb
Only use max. 60 W, E 27 type bulbs. Use of other bulbs can lead to
overheating.
The power supply must be disconnected before changing the bulb.
If the bulb is changed directly after failure, you must first leave the bulb
to cool down for a sufficient period.
Remove the protective cover and the protective glass.
Carefully unscrew the defective bulb from the socket.
Carefully insert new bulb into the socket. Do not use force or excessive
pressure.
Before commissioning, check that the bulb is properly positioned in the
socket. Replace the protective glass and protective cover.
When assembling ensure the correct position of the seal between the lamp
housing and the protective glass.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning you must ensure that the light is disconnected from the power
supply.
Use a dry or slightly moistened cloth for cleaning.
Never clean with chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Disposal
- **** Dispose of packaging materials in accordance with the applicable waste disposal regulations.
- Used devices contain reusable materials as well as hazardous substances.
Therefore, do not dispose of your used device with household waste, but do so in accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
