FUNCTIONALITIES

  1. Power On/Off
    Power on: When camera is off, hold to turn on the camera.
    The turn on indication as below:
    • Camera status Indicator turn green
    • Camera LCD will show boot up logo
    • Boot up music
    • Camera vibrate
    Power off: When camerais on, hold to turn off the camera.
    The turn off indication as below:
    • Camera LCD will show turn-off logo, LCD goes black
    • Camera status Indicator will turn off
    • Turn-off music
    •  Camera vibrate
    Notice: If camera is in recording mode, the video will be stored properly then camera turn off.
    Tum on/off LCD: When camera is on, press to turn on / off the backlight of LCD screen.

  2. Video Recording
    When camera is in standby mode: If camera is in standby mode (power on but not recording), press to start recording, press again to stop recording.
    When camera is off: Hold , camera will turn on and start recording automatically, press again to stop recording.

  3. Video Settingin
    preview mode, press , input the right password to enter setting menu, select the first icon (Camera Setting icon) and press  again to go to setting list.

Default password: For general user default password is 000000, user can only check settings, but can not change settings.
For administrator default password is888888 user are able to change settings.

    1. Resolution
      There are six options to select from:
      2560×1440 30P / 1920X1080 60P / 1920X1080 30P / 1280X720 60P / 1280X720 30P / 848X480 30P
  1.  Video Quality
    There are three options to select from: High / Medium / Low

  2. Photo Size
    There are six options to select from:
    4M(2688X1512) / 8M(3840X2160) / 12M(4680X2592) / 16M(5344X3000) / 30M(7360X4140) / 40M(8448X4752)

  3. H.265 Encoding
    There are two options to select from: On / Off
    H.265 saves over 50% memory space, and improves video quality.

  4.  Pre-Record
    There are four options to select from: Off / 5 sec / 10 sec / 15 sec Camera will record 5sec-15sec of video prior to record button being pressed to start recording.

  5.  Loop Recording
    There are two options to select from: On / Off
    When loop recording is set with “On’, it provides a way to let camera keep recording when memory space is full, because oldest file will be overwritten by newest file.

  6.  Post-Record
    There are four options to select from: Off / 5 sec / 10 sec / 15 sec Camera will record 5-15sec after record button being pressed to stop recording.

  7. Power On Auto-Record
    There are two options to select from: On / Off

  8. Video Length
    There are five options to select from: Off / 2 min / 5 min / 10 min 115 min Video splitter refers to the length of video segments while the device is recording. The minute amount is the length of each video segment before device begins a new video file. This will NOT stop device from recording, it will just split your videos into smaller, more manageable files.

  9.  Mute Recording
    There are three options to select from: Off / Pre-recording / On Audio won’t be recorded when mute recording is on.

  10. Motion Detection
    There are two options to select from: On / Off Camera will detect movements of scenes. Press ,once camera detects the movements, it will start recording, and stop recording until video scene has not changed or moved for over 10 seconds.

4. Photographing
In Preview Mode, single-press , and the unit will start taking photo similar to a digital camera.

To capture picture while video is being recorded, just single- press .
6. Audio Recording
In Preview Mode, press and the camera will start audio recording. Press again to stop audio recording. One key audio recording: When camera is off, hold for 3 seconds, camera will turn on and start audio recording right away.
Press   again to stop audio recording.
7. File Tagging
While video is being recorded, press (I , there will bea A\ icon show on the LCD screen, the video will be tagged as important file. Press to stop recording, video will be saved as important video.

8. Quick switch from audio/video recording
(1) When camera is video recording, press to stop video recording and start audio recording. The video will be stored properly then switch to audio recording.
(2) When camera is audio recording, press to stop audio recording and start video recording. The audio will be stored properly then switch to video recording.
9. Playback
In Preview Mode, press, and find “Video, Photo, Audio”, all files recorded can be browsed.
10. One Key Playback
In Preview Mode, press and hold to check the last file recorded.
11.Setup Settings
In preview mode, press , input the right password to enter setting menu, select the “General” icon and press again to go to setting list.
Default password: For general user default password is 000000 , user can only check settings, but can not change settings.
For administrator default password is 888888 , user are able to change settings.

  1.  Language
    There are two options to select from: English, sz (SimpleChinese)

  2. GPS
    There are two options to select from: On / Off
    GPS positioning can be achieved by turning on GPS, and the
    GPS location coordinates can be viewed on the video watermark.
    The GPS function needs to be used outdoors.

  3.  Time Zone
    You can select your time zone

  4.  Time setup
    Modify date and time

  5.  Vibration Notification
    There are two options to select from: On / Off

  6. IR Filter
    There are four options to select from: Off / Manual / Auto /
    During Recording Off means to turn off Infrared lights.
    Manual means to turn on/off IR manually.
    Auto means IR lights will be turned on/ off automatically. D uring Recording means IR lights will be turned on/off automatically during recording.

  7. Auto Power Off
    There are seven options to select from: Off / 30 sec /1 min/ 3 min /5 min /10 min /30 min
    Auto Power Off will only power off the device when it has been in standby mode for the selected interval. This will NOT power off the device during recordings.

  8.  LCD Auto Off
    There are three options to select from: Off / 10 sec / 30 sec /1 min /3 min /5 min
    Screensaver will turn off LCD display of camera device when ithas been in standby mode for the selected interval. This will NOTpower off the device.

  9. Key Tone
    There are two options to select from: On / Off

  10.  Volume
    There are ten options to select from: 0/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10

  11.  Audio Prompt
    There are three options to select from: Off / Beep / Voice

  12. LED Light
    There are two options to select from: On / Off
    ‘Dash Camera Mode
    There are two options to select from: On / Off
    Car Mode means camera will power on automatically and start recording after connected to power source.
    ‘ Date Format
    There are three options to select from: DD-MM-YYYY MM-DD-YYYY YYYY-MM-DD

  13. Stealth Mode
    There are two options to select from: On / Off
    Stealth Mode means to turn off all indicators and prompt sound.
    When it’s set with On, press and hold menu button to activate it.

  14.  USB Mode
    There are two options to select from: Password Mode / No Password

  15. Password Mode
    There are two options to select from: On / Off

  16. Change Password
    Default password is 888888.

  17.  Change Device ID
    Input correct password, and then set the Device ID you would like to have.

  18. Change User ID
    Input correct password, and then set the User ID you would like to have.

  19. Low battery warning
    There are two options to select from: On / Off

  20.  Low space warning
    There are two options to select from: On / Off

  21.  Default setting
    This action will restore the default settings

12. About Device
In preview mode, press   to enter into setup menu, select the “About” icon and press again to go to setting list.
It includes information as below: Location System Info, Total Space, Available Space, Remaining Video, Remaining Audio, Remaining Photos, Battery Status, Hardware Version and Firmware Version.
13. Reset
Resetting camera will power off the camera forcibly, it helps when the camera is down.
Hold (Record button on the top) and together for 3 to 5 seconds, camera will reset.

14. Charging
Please charge camera via USB cable and wall charger provided.
The battery used in camera is Polymer Lithium type. When camera is fully charged, blue charging indicator will turn off.
There are 2 ways of charging:
1. Connect camera to computer via USB cable
Since the current of different computer’s USB port varies from each other, it is normal if there are circumstances that camera can not be fully charged.
2. Charging by adapter & USB cable
When camera can work normally, while being charged by adapter + USB cable.
