IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Read these instructions -All safety and operating instructions should be read before operating this speaker.
  2. Keep these instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
  3. Heed all warnings -All warnings on the speaker system and in the operating instru­ctions should be adhered to.
  4. Follow all instructions -All operating and use instructions should be followed.
  5. Do not defeat or inhibit in any way the safety of the polarized{US) power plugs. A polarized plug has two prongs, one wider than the other. The wide prong or the third circular prong improves the plug’s safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, do not modify the plug in any way. Instead, consult an electrician and replace your power outlet to be compatible with these power plugs.
  6. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at the power plug, at the point of connection between the plug and outlet, and at the point of connection between the power cable and speaker.
  7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  8. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  9. When a cart or rack is used, use caution when moving the cart/ apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
  10. Unplug the speaker during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

INSTALLATION

Do not place the speakers in locations that are:

  • Extremely hot or cold

  • Dusty or dirty

  • Very humid

  • Subject to vibrations

  • Subject to direct sunlight

  • Near magnetic cards (credit cards, commuter passes, etc.)
    Magnetic cards may fail due to the magnets in the speaker units.

  • Too close to a wall as this may obstruct the ventilation hole on the back.

COMPLIANCE WITH FCC REGULATIONS

  1. This device complies with Part 15 of FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
    (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
    (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

  2. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.

  3. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.

  4. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

Clean the cabinet with a soft cloth lightly moistened with water. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder or harsh solvent such as alcohol or benzine

CONNECTION

  1. Place the speakers symmetrically and equidistant from the listener, with the distance between each speaker and listener no less than 1 meter (3.28ft). Keep a distance of at least 20 -30cm (7 .87 -11.Bin) between the port tube on the back panel of the speaker and the wall or other objects.
  2. Connect the active speaker and passive speaker using the included connecting cable.
  3. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
  4. Adjust the speaker’s volume dial to the minimum level (counterclockwise), switch the Power button to ON, and the LED indicator light will turn red.
  5. The speaker will enter the self-test mode (about 15 seconds), and a noticication will sound after the self-test is over.
  6. When the noticication sounds, select the mode to start playing the music/audio/media on your connected device and adjust the speaker’s volume/bass/treble level as desired.

BLUETOOTH MODE

  1. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth and search for other active Bluetooth devices.
  2. Press the MODE Button to turn on the Bluetooth of this speaker system, and select “D-201 H” from the list of found devices on your Bluetooth device.
  3. You will hear a “Connected” notification sound when pairing is successful. You will now be able to play music/audio from your Bluetooth device wirelessly through the speaker system.

NOTE

  • Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility may differ amongst different source devices, depending on the software versions of source devices.
  • After switching to Bluetooth mode, the speaker system will automatically search for the previously-paired Bluetooth device and connect with it. If it can’t find the previous device, the speaker system will automatically enter pairing mode. Please activate the Bluetooth of your media device before pairing with the speaker system.

LINE-IN MODE (RCA/ AUX)

  1. Press the MODE button on the side panel of the active speaker to switch, you will hear a “Line-in Mode” notification sound.
  2. Connect audio source (personal computer, turntable, etc.) to the RCA/AUX input port on the rear panel of the active speaker using an audio cable.
  3. Play music on the connected device and adjust the settings to the desired level.

NOTE: When you connect different devices through RCA and 3.5mm audio cables at the same time, the speaker will give priority to identifying the input signal of the AUX-connected device. So if you want to listen to the RCA- connected device, please disconnect the AUX cable first.

USB DRIVER/SD CARD MODE

  1. Insert the USB drive/SD card directly, you will hear a “USB driver mode”/”SD card mode” notification sound.
  2. The speaker will automatically play the MP3 or WMA file from the USB drive/SD card.
  3. You will now be able to select the “previous song/ next song/ pause/ play” by the buttons on the side control panel of the active speaker.

REMOTE CONTROL

  1. MUTE:

  2. Press to suspend the sound output temporarily.
    – Press again to resume the sound output.

  3. Mode: – Press to switch different mode.

  4. BT: – Switch to the Bluetooth mode.

  5. USB/SD:

  6. Switch to the USB drive/SD card mode.

  7. VOL+/-: – Turn the volume up/down.

  8. CH-/+: – Select the previous/next track.

  9. Play/Pause:

  10. Press once to pause play temporarily.

  11. Press once again to start playback.

  12. Loop (For USB mode only):

  13. Play the same track repeatedly.

  14. EQ: -Adjust the treble and bass.

  15. Number 0-9 (For USB mode only):

  16. Enter numbers to play tracks (the numbers correspond to the order of the songs on the USB drive, no need to manually mark the filename serial number).

Battery Replacement
The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote control.

  1. Remove the battery compartment door by pressing in on the tab and lifting it off.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries (not included in the package) into the battery compartment following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
  3. Replace the battery compartment door.

Battery Precautions

  • Replacement of batteries must be done by an adult.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Exhausted batteries are to be removed.
  • Only batteries of the equivalent type are to be used.
  • Dispose of batteries properly. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. The batteries may explode or leak.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Solution
There’s no sound Check if the speaker is ON.

Turn volume control clockwise to turn up the volume.
Ensure the audio cables are firmly conn­ ected and the input is set correctly on the speakers.
Check if there is a signal output from the audio source.
Cannot connect via Bluetooth| Make sure the speaker is switched to Bluetooth input. If it is in other audio input modes, Bluetooth will not connect.
Disconnect from any Bluetooth device, then try again.
Effective Bluetooth transmission range is 10 meters; please ensure that operation is within the range.
Try another Bluetooth device for connection.
Severe hum or noise is heard (NOTE: A slight low level of hum or vibration is normal as the woofer contains a transformer)| The contacts between the plugs of the connecting cords and the corresponding jacks have not been made properly.

Connect the plugs firmly.

The audio system is picking up some noise from a TV set. Move the audio system away from the TV set or turn the TV set off.
Try plugging the system into a different outlet.

The product’s packaging is made from environmentally friendly material and can be disposed of at your local recycling plant

This Warranty Card Automatically Expires under the Following Circums Tances. But Customer Can Still Enjoy Fee-Based Maintenance Services.

  • The fault or damage caused by man-made or abnormal operations.(subject to the environment with too wet or too dry,unstalbe voltage or current. zero ground voltage is too larger, etc.)
  • Disassembling, replacing the failure product without authorization.
  • The product with series number missing or altered.
  • For all damages from outside force including liquid, crack, improper plugging, insect pests.etc.
  • Natural consumption.(the nature consumption of shell, patch components.wear and aging).
  • Damage caused by force majeure(e.g., flood. earthquake and other disasters).
  • The fault caused by software operation outside the scope of Udreamer permission.
  • The failure product NOT belonging to Udreamer.

Particularly Declaration
Udreamer shall NOT be responsible for any mechanical failure or a result of direct and indirect losses caused by software problems. The native consumer is protected by the consumer protection laws of his local country, if consumer buys product in a foreign country, the consumer must follow the foreign country’s consumer protection law.
