- Tack the drywall in place. Apply slight pressure to the box areas and the tip of the Mark N Guard will pop through the center.
- Insert the cutout tool next to the tip of Mark N Guard. Move the router until you feel the perimeter of the box. Use the outside of the box as a guide for cutting.
- Remove the drywall plug and Mark N Guard . You are ready to hang the next sheet!

- Make sure not to use Mark N Guard on drywall edges as this may damage the drywall sheet during installation.
- Do not use it in other double electrical gang boxes because Mark
- N Guard is intended for single gang boxes only.
- Avoid using Mark N Guard on ⅝ inch or thicker drywall sheets.
- This works best on ½ inch drywall sheets.
- Avoid improper placement of Mark N Guard within the outlet.
- Make sure that the wires are pushed to the back of the box before inserting Mark N Guard .
- Push it into the outlet box until fully seated, it will help identify the centre of the box while installing drywall.
