HOW TO USE
Remove the unit and cutting lever from the package before the first time use.

  1. To attach the cutting lever to the can opener, make the key tabs align with the key slots, push it frontward to fix it (see Fig. 1), then press down the cutting lever to ensure it has been assembled in place (see Fig. 2), then lift the cutting lever.

  2. Connect to the power source.

  3. Tip the can so that its rim is under the locating post, the lid of the can will be sucked by a magnet, then press down the cutting lever. Make sure the blade is inside the rim (see Fig. 3).

  4. The Drive wheel will actuate the can to rotate and the blade will cut the can lid open. Because of the hands-free feature, it is not necessary to hold the cutting lever down or support the can during cutting.
NOTE: The can required to be opened shall be 50mm to 100mm in diameter and 178mm max in height. In the case the total weight of the can is over 510g, it is necessary to press and hold the can opener to avoid overturning No more than 5 cans could be opened continuously. Every interval time should be 15 seconds.

  5. The cans opened with this Can Opener must be less than 1400g in weight.

  6. When the can is opened, the can opener will stop automatically. To remove the can, hold it with one hand and raise the cutting lever with the other one.
CAUTION: Avoid contact with the cut edges of the can or lids as they are sharp, carefully remove the lid from the magnet and discard.

  7. The excess cord can be stuffed into cord storage at the back of the unit, and feed the cord through the notch for convenient storage.

CAN OPENING TIPS

  1. This can opener should not be used to open cans designed to open by another method, such as a pull tab, peel-off foil seal, or rolling key. This can opener will not be used to open rimless cans or cans with angled corners.
  2. If there is a dent in the rim of a can, open the other end or start the cutting action just beyond the dent. Cans with heavy seams, uneven rims or odd shapes may cause the can opener to stall.
  3. If this occurs, turn the can slightly by hand to aid the cutting action.
  4. Frozen juices or foods in cardboard cans should be opened as soon as they are removed from the freezer. Aluminum lids will not be stuck to the magnet.

CAUTION Risk of injury!
TO OPEN BOTTLES
Before opening bottles, unplug the power supply first. To open a bottle, grasp it and position the cap under the metal hook part in the bottle opener (see Fig. 4).

NOTE
Be sure the bottleneck is not under the metal hook part, or the glass may break. Hold the can opener with one hand and pull down to pop the cap off with the other one. The bottle opener at the front of the unit will only remove metal
bottle caps. Do not use it for the bottle with a screw-off cap or pull ring.

TO SHARPEN KNIFE

Unplug the power supply first, and then place the knife which is intended to be sharpened in the slot of the knife sharpener at the back of the unit. For best results, sharpen the entire length carefully to pull the knife through the slot back and forth (see Fig. 5), until desired sharpness is achieved. After sharpening, wash and dry the knife. The sharpener also can be used for sharpening stationary scissors.
NOTE: Be cautious with the knife after sharpening.

KNIFE SHARPENING TIPS

  1. Clean and dry knives before sharpening.
  2. Do not attempt to sharpen serrated blades, as this will smooth their edges.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Before cleaning any part of the can opener, unplug the cord.
  2. To remove the cutting Lever for easy cleaning, lift the cutting lever up and pull it out. The blade assembly can be cleaned with a damp cloth, then wiped with a sponge and dried thoroughly. It is a dishwasher-safe component. Reverse the procedure to replace the cutting lever.
  3. Before replacing the cutting lever, wipe the can opener housing, and area around the drive wheel with a slightly damp cloth or sponge. To remove stubborn spots, wipe surfaces with a nylon or mesh pad and sudsy water, followed with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners on any part of the can opener as they can damage the finish.
  4. Do not immerse the main part of the can opener in the water as this would give rise to an electric shock.

ENVIROMENT FRIENDLY DISPOSAL
You can help protect the environment! Please remember to respect the local regulations: hand in the non-working electrical equipment to an appropriate waste disposal Centre.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. What do I do?
Please confirm that the correct voltage has been connected, and the power supply has been energized, and check whether the tool assembly is pressed into place and whether it is a no-load start if all of the above are
confirmed, the machine may have been damaged.

  2. Why is it rotating so slowly?
It looks like it’s struggling.  If there is a dent in the rim of a can, open the other end or start the cutting action just beyond the dent. Cans with heavy seams, uneven rims or odd shapes may cause the can opener to stall. If this occurs, turn the can slightly by hand to aid the cutting action
