HOW TO USE TYMO HAIR STRAIGHTENER BRUSH

  2. Expose the hair inside and divide it into quarters. If you have very thick hair, drop it into more sections.
  3. Brush your hair so it doesn’t get tangled.
  4. Hold a hair section and place TYMO IONIC at the roots. Slide root to tip slowly.

How to Use

  1. Wash and dry your hair Do not use any spray, styling agent, or other inflammable chemical hair-care products.
  2. Fully unwind the power cord and insert the plug into a power socket.
  3. Press the “Power Button” once to switch on the appliance. Place the appliance on a flat, hard, heat-resistant surface to heat The appliance will work at 350 °F/180 c (defaulted).
  4. You will be able to see your temperature setting in the “LED Indicator”, Press or adjust the temperature according to different hair types.
  5. Press and hold both for 2-3 seconds, to convert between °F and °C. (6) Use the appliance to brush your hair in different directions to reach all areas.
  6. Try brushing from underneath, over partings, and in upward and downward motions to find what suits your hair. Brush hair from scalp to tip, as you would use a normal brush.
  7. Press and hold the “Power Button” for 2-3 seconds to turn off. You will see “OFF’ flashing in the ‘LED Indicator’

NOTE

  • It will take 30 seconds for the appliance to heat once switched on.
  • The appliance has intelligent features of high efficiency and energy saving. After 60 minutes of working, it will be switched off automatically. If it is put into use again, you can press the “Power Button” key to restart the appliance.
  • While using the hair straightener, the hair shall be in a dry state, otherwise, it may fail to reach the styling effect or desired result.

General Tips

  1. Dry your hair fully before using the appliance, as straightening damp hair may cause damage e.g. steam burns. If you see steam or hear sizzling, stop immediately as your hair is too damp to be straightened.
  2. Test a small, hidden section of hair before you use higher temperatures.
  3. To prevent hair damage, DO NOT keep the appliance remain in a single spot for more than 5 seconds. Keep the appliance moving to achieve straight results with less damage.
  4. We strongly recommend using a heat protectant to prevent hair damage. Apply the heat protectant to the hair
  5. DO NOT apply styling products like hairspray before you have finished straightening.
  6. Some styling products are not designed to be used with heat Using the appliance after such products have been applied to the hair may cause sticking or burn.
  7. A silicone-based serum used after straightening adds shine. DO NOT add mousse or water-based products after straightening or your hair will turn wavy with the dampness in the product.

Global Use

  1. Switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius by holding down both buttons.
  2. The appliance is designed with a rated voltage of 100- 240V AC, which allows you to use it in any country within this voltage range.
  3.  A correctly specified travel adapter is required for traveling (not supplied).

  12. Ensure that the cord is fully extended (not coiled) while in use.

  14. Never allow the power cord to overhang the edge of a table or bench top or to touch any hot surface.

WARNING

  • This appliance does not apply to straightening the hair of pets.

Cleaning and Maintenance
