Product Usage Instructions

• Preparation Before Using:
  • Insert the AAA battery into the device, ensuring the electrode direction is correct.
  • Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
• Connecting to Bluetooth:
  • Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and bring it close to the Thermo-Hygrometer.
  • ( Note: Android device users should also turn on Location, and iOS users should go to Settings – Govee Home – Location Always on their phone.)
  • Open the Govee Home app and tap the “+” icon at the top right corner. Select “H5104” from the list.
  • Follow the instructions in the app to complete the connection.
  • Once the connection is successful, the LCD screen will display a Bluetooth-connected icon.
  • If the connection fails, please recheck the above steps and try again.
• Using Your Device with the Govee Home App:
  • Export Data: You can send historical data to your mailbox in CSV format.
  • Alert Notifications: The app can push alert notifications when the temperature or humidity goes out of the preset range.
• Troubleshooting:
  • If you encounter any issues, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
• Cannot connect to Bluetooth:
  • Ensure that Bluetooth on your phone is turned on.
  • Connect to the Thermo-Hygrometer through the Govee Home app instead of the Bluetooth list on your phone.
  • Keep the distance between your phone and the device within 60m/197ft.
  • Keep your phone as close to the device as possible.
  • For Android device users, make sure the Location is turned on. For iOS users, select Settings – Govee Home – Location Always on your phone.
• Data in the app is not updated:
  • Make sure the device is connected to the Govee Home app.
  • For Android device users, make sure the Location is turned on. For iOS users, select Settings – Govee Home – Location Always on your phone.
  • Cannot export data in the app: Please sign up and log in to your account before exporting data.
• Warnings:
  • The device should be used in an environment with a temperature ranging from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) and humidity from 0% to 99%.
  • Remove the batteries if the device is not used for an extended period of time.
  • Avoid dropping the device from a high place.
  • Do not disassemble the device violently.
  • Do not immerse the device in water.

Preparation Before Using

Place in the battery (Make sure the electrode direction is correct).

Downloading the Govee Home App

Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).

Connecting to Bluetooth

1. Turn on Bluetooth in your phone and get close to the Thermo-Hygrometer;
   • ( Notice: Android device users should turn on Location and iOS users should tap “Setting – Govee Home – Location – Always” in your phone.)
2. Open Govee Home, tap the “+” icon at the top right corner, and select “H5104”.
3. Follow the instructions in app to complete connecting.
4. It shows a Bluetooth-connected icon on the LCD screen once the connection is completed.
5. Please check the above steps and try again if the connection fails.

Using Your Device with Govee Home App

• Export data
  Send historical data to your mailbox in CSV format.

• Alert me
  Push alert notifications once temperature/humidity goes out of the preset range.

• Calibration
  The calibration range for the temperature is ±10 ℃/±18℉ while for the humidity is ±20.0%.

Troubleshooting

1. Cannot connect to Bluetooth.
   • a. Make sure Bluetooth in your phone has been turned on.
   • b. Connect to the thermo-hygrometer in the Govee Home app instead of the Bluetooth list on your phone.
   • c. Keep the distance between your phone and the device less than 60m/197ft.
   • d. Keep your phone as close to the device as possible.
   • e. Make sure that Android device users turn on Location and iOS users select “Setting – Govee Home – Location – Always” in the phone.
2. Data in the app is not updated.
   • a. Make sure the device is connected to the Govee Home app.
   • b. Make sure that Android device users turn on Location and iOS users select “Setting – Govee Home – Location –  Always” in the phone
3. Cannot export data in the app.
   • Please sign up and log in to your account before exporting data.

Warning

1. The device should work in an environment with a temperature ranging from -20℃ to 60℃and humidity from 0% to 99%.
