  1. Remove the screws from the clear side panel and carefully lift it away from the case. Avoid placing the panel on ceramic or hard surfaces to prevent breakage.
  2. If your PC has protective foam inside, carefully remove it and store it with the rest of your packaging for potential future use.
  3. Retrieve the power plug from inside the PC. If not found in the main area, check behind the opposite side panel.

Step 2: Connecting your display

Depending on your PC’s graphics configuration:

  • If you have a discrete graphics card, use the ports in the highlighted horizontal section (2b) of the image provided.

  • Connect only one cable per screen.

PLEASE READ AND RETAIN
Please read through the following carefully and follow the steps to set up your PC for the first time.

Removing internal items

Some systems require internal foam protection for transit – if this is present in your PC, this must be removed before turning it on.

  1. Remove the screws from the clear side panel and carefully lift it away from the case. Take care not to place the panel on a ceramic or hard surface, as this could lead it to break.
  2. If your PC has protective foam inside, carefully remove it. It is worth storing the protective foam with the rest of your packaging in case you need to return your PC for any reason.
  3. Retrieve your power plug from inside the PC. If this isn’t in the main area, it may be behind the opposite side panel.
  4. Ensure that no components have become unseated in transit – giving the graphics card (if present) and RAM sticks a firm but careful push back into their slots is often advised. After this, put your side panel back in place

Connecting your display

  • Some PCs come with a discrete graphics card, please see the image below to ensure the correct ports are used.
  • If you have a graphics card, you will always need to use the ports in the highlighted horizontal section in the image (2b). If you have a more entry-level machine that uses integrated graphics, then use the ports in the motherboard – the highlighted vertical section in the image (2a). You should also only connect one cable per screen

Connecting your accessories

Connect your accessories to the relevant ports at the back. This may include your mouse, keyboard, headset, WiFi USB (if present), and any additional accessories you own.
NOTE : These PCs don’t have speakers inside and not all monitors either – you’ll need to connect your audio device to get sound from your PC.

Setting up internet access

In order to set up your internet access, you will need to connect either the WiFi USB dongle (4a) to a USB port, or screw in the aerials (4b) to your integrated WiFi – you will have only received one of these. Alternatively, you can use a hard-wired ethernetconnection for the best connectivity

Powering on your PC

  • Connect the included power cable to a plug socket and the power supply of the PC (5a). If your power supply has a switch, make sure that it is flipped into the “I” position (5b). Once completed, press the power button at the top of your PC (5c) and you should be good to go!
NOTE : If you get “No Signal” or a similar message on your display, please revisit steps 1D and 2.
