Note : DO NOT Put Emergency key in the Safe Box.
Opening the Safe for First Time:
-
To open the safe for the first time, remove the key cover by pulling the key cover.
-
Insert the key and turn it counter clockwise & turn the knob Clockwise together to open the Lock. Similarly User can open the lock in case you forget the Password.

Do not put key inside the Box.
-
Turn the knob counter clockwise when closing the door to lock it.
How To Insert or Replace Batteries: -
Open the safe door.
-
Open the battery compartment and insert 4 batteries.
-
Replace the batteries with four AA size Batteries.
-
Put back the battery cover.
-
Keeping the door open, test the safe to make sure it works.
Important:
If the see red light turn on, this means the battery voltage is low and you
should replace the batteries.
Default Code : 159 [Whenever you change batteries and than set your code again
as per how to set user code
How to Set the User Code:
-
Press the Red color reset button.
Red color reset button is left of cover box. The Yellow light will turn on. -
Select a new code (3-8 digits) and press the LOCK key to confirm.

If Yellow light will turn off with 2 Beeps means code is successfully set.
Important:
Test the new code with the door open before locking the door.
How to Open the Safe – Using User Code:
-
Input your code Press LOCK key to confirm the green light will turn on.
Now Rotate the knob clockwise within 5 seconds to open the door. After 5 seconds, the green light will turn off, and you will need to re-enter your code again to open the door. -
If the yellow light Blinks with 3 beeps, it means the password is Incorrect.

After 3 Wrong Password entry yellow light will continues Blink with beeps & you won’t be able to Re-enter the password until the blinking stops.

If you forget the password then you should use emergency key to open and reset the Password.
How to Lock the Safe:
- Close the door and turn the knob anti-clockwise to lock the safe.
Important:
Use (CLEAR) Key to clear an input while entering password (upto 2 digit).
How to use override keys:
For your convenience, we have engineered a manual override system for your
safe, we have supplied 2 sets of override keys.
These keys allow you to open the safe at all times, even when the batteries
are run down or when you have forgotten your code. The keyhole is situated
behind the override cover plate (key-cover) beside the knob, take off the
cover insert the override key and turn anti-clockwise, and then open the safe
as usual.
Automatic Lockout
-
The safe will enter a 30-second lockout if the wrong user code is entered 3 consecutive time.
-
You can unlock it after beeping stops or you can use override key to unlock it.

Important: Entering the wrong user code 4 times will lock the safe for 5 minutes
Cleaning & Maintenance: -
If necessary wipe the outside and inside of the product with a slightly damp cloth.
-
Avoid contact with corrosive substances like acids, alkaline or similar substances.
Warning: -
Please keep the override keys of the safe in another safe place and do not keep inside the safe.

In the event the keys are lost and the code is misplaced and the batteries are weak – the supplier does not take responsibility for replacing or repairing them.

If taking out batteries for a long time, you need to reset the password.
Important Instruction: -
Please keep this manual and override keys in a safe place (NOT INSIDE THE SAFE).

Make sure the safe is anchored properly as it can fall and hurt people/property and prevent theft
-
DO NOT use any liquid while cleaning the keypad, you could use a damp cloth if required.
-
DO NOT place any liquid on top of the safe, a spill on the keypad may render the safe inoperable.
-
DO NOT overstuff the safe or you can damage the mechanism of the contents.

DO NOT open the back cover or try to repair the safe yourself. In case of any problem contact Equal Call Center at 1800-203-7688

Home users are advised to change the user code.
How to Secure the Safe on a Floor or Wall:
To reduce the risk of the safe being stolen it can be secured to floor, wall or in a cupboard. For your convenience, there are four holes both in the bottom and on the back of the safe: therefore it can be fixed by the expansion bolts supplied.
- Place the safe on the selected location. Use a pencil to mark the mounting holes on the floor or wall.
- Move the safe and drill 2.5 inches deep mounting holes (~60 mm) using a 12mm drill bit.
- Put the expansion bolt into the mounting hole, then turn the clamping screw counter clockwise to separate.
- Move the safe back in place, align the safe over the holes, and then secure the safe with the clamping screw.
DO NOT Mount both Way. Either use wall mount or floor mount.
