USING AND INSTALLATION

HOW TO USE

  1. To light up the gas stove, open the regulating valve of cylinder, light a match stick and hold it close to the burner. Now open the corresponding regulating knob and turn it anticlockwise to the ‘ON’ position.
  2. In case of Piezo Auto Ignition model, push the gas control knob in and turn it towards the MAX position (counter clockwise) until you hear the ignition click.
  3. To turn ‘OFF’ the gas regulator, turn the gas control knob to the ‘OFF’ position.
  4. Make sure that the ingredients being cooked are not spilled over on the gas stove during cooking, as it may extinguish the flame or choke the burners.
  5. In case of gas leakage or any other defect, report to your gas dealer and get the gas stove checked / rectified by an authorized person only.
  6. Use a damp cloth to clean your gas stove.
  7. Keep a distance of atleast 50mm between the gas lighter and the burner to prevent gas from burning in the Gas pipe. In case this happens, immediately switch off the burner and reignite.
  8. Avoid dripping of cold water or liquid on the toughened glass when the surface is hot, it may cause damage.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

  • The gas cylinder should be placed vertically and should not be tilted.
  • The gas stove should be placed at convenient working height against a wall. It should be kept away from shelves and curtains.
  • While operating the gas stove shut the windows and switch off the fans. The flexible tube connecting the cylinder to the gas stove should be gas resistant and of an approved brand. It should not be longer than one meter and should be kept away from the source of heat. The tube should not be subjected to external pressure, twisted or sharply looped.
  • When the gas stove is not in operation ensure that the regulating knobs are in ‘OFF’ position and the regulating valve on the cylinder is closed.
