• The parts are listed below – each part is identified with a letter in RED for easy reference.

• Keep these instructions for future reference.

• Prior to assembly, this package contains small parts: hardware which is a choking hazard and may contain sharp edges and sharp points. Keep away from children until assembled.
  Place this product on a flat surface for stability. To prevent tipping and potential injury, do not attempt to stand the basketball set up without first filling the base with 40 lbs. (18.2 Kg.) of sand (not included) (Illus. 2). The unit may fall over without weight in the base.

• This product is intended for use by children ages 1 1/2 – 5 years.

• Do not allow children to sit, stand, play or climb on the top surface. Failure to do so may cause the product to become unstable.

• Ensure play area is clear of any obstructions and sharp objects to avoid injury to the person or damage to the product.

• Do not use in windy conditions.

• Do not expose to extreme temperatures. Always store indoors and out of direct sunlight when not in use.

• Wipe product with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

This is not a lifesaving devise and is not to be used in or near water. It is not an aquatic toy. Do not leave children unattended.

DISPOSAL

Disassemble and dispose of equipment in such a manner that no hazardous conditions such as, but not limited to, small parts and sharp edges exist at the time equipment is discarded.

LIMITED WARRANTY

The Little Tikes Company makes fun, high-quality toys. We warrant to the original purchaser that this product is free of defects in materials or workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase (dated sales receipt is required for proof of purchase). At the sole election of The Little Tikes Company, the only remedies available under this warranty will be the replacement of the defective part or replacement of the product. This warranty is valid only if the product has been assembled and maintained per the instructions. This warranty does not cover abuse, accident, cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches from normal wear, or any other cause not arising from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period is three (3) months for daycare or commercial purchasers.

Adult assembly required

BEFORE you begin assembly, make sure you have all the parts listed below.

1. Let’s Go!
   Insert pole (part C) into base (part B).
   Push down until pole is fully seated into base.
   

2. NO tipping!
   To prevent tipping and potential injury, do not attempt to stand the basketball set up without first filling the base with 40 lbs. (18.2 Kg.) of sand (not included). The unit may fall over without weight in the base.

3. Pull “UP” to adjust

4. Pull up on pole to disengage “locking collar”.

5. The “locking collar” needs to be positioned in the 3rd groove for the backboard to attach. To adjust pole to a taller position – pull up and re-position the
   “locking collar”.

Time to inflate!
Unfold the backboard and lay flat.

1. Locate the valve on the back of the backboard.

2. Fill with air until firm and secure nozzle.
   NOTE: do not over-inflate.

3. Locate the valve on the front of the rim.

4. Fill with air until firm and secure nozzle.
   NOTE: do not over-inflate.

Get ready to play!

Pull the inflated backboard over the pole.

Vinyl Patch Kit

WARNING: For ADULT use. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

1. Deflate the item and make sure it is thoroughly dry.
2. Cut a portion of the patch to the size needed and round the corners.
3. Remove the adhesive backing, position the patch over the damaged area and smooth out any bubbles.
4. Allow item to sit for 20 minutes before re-inflating.
