Installation
Switch off the mains before starting installation

Cut a suitable hole off your ceiling via using hole template.| Plug the same
color wires into the same wire nuts.

Connect the downlights to the J-Box.| Push the downlights into the ceiling.
Cautions
- Cut off the power supply before installation to avoid electric shock.
- The Smart LED lights only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and won’t work with 5GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Don’t set the lights too far away from Wi-Fi router.
- Don’t turn on and off too fast while reset the lights.
- Each lights distance should be in 5M.
- Don’t link too many devices in one Wi-Fi router.
- This Smart Lights Only dimming by APP, Not support All Dimmer Switch and Smart Dimmer Switch.

Setting Smart Life APP
Smart Life APP will be updated constantly, app interface might look different from this manual. Please don’t hesitate to contact us by Peteme@kxg.com if you have any problems.

Step1: Scan the QR code or search “Smart Life” on App store or Google Play to
download and install the Smart Life APP.
Step2: Launch the Smart Life App and register. Enter your phone number or
email to set up your account.
How to connect the Hub to WiFi? (2.4GHz)
- Firstly, Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth on your phone. Further, connect your phone to WIFI and make sure the hub is not far from your WiFi router.
- Please Reset the Hub first. Press “Reset” button for 3 to 6 seconds until the Red indicator lights flashes. (breathing mode).
- Open “Smart Life”App and click “+” to add device.
- Click “Auto Scan” to found device.
- Enter Wi-Fi password to join your network. Wait till it is successfully connected. (Only support 2.4GHz WiFi)
Lighting Pairing

Firstly, Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth on your phone.
Further, connect your phone to WiFi and make sure the lights are not far from your WiFi router. -
Please Reset the lights. Turn on and off 3 times (Turn on-off-on-off-on) until the lights flashes. (breathing mode).
If the light is blinking rapidly, pls skip the reset step:
① Power on the device;
② Turn on-off-on-off-on (Subject to the user manual);
③ Ensure the light is blinking rapidly;
Note: please complete the network districution within 3 minutes after resetting the device. -
Open “Smart Life”App and click “+” to add device.

Click “Auto Scan” to found device and Add devices.
How to add the lights to the Hub?

Click the Gateway and Add the devices.
If you have paired lights, please click “Add existing”.If you haven’t paired the lights, Please pair the lights first, or Click “Search for Devices” to pair the lights. (the lights need to be switched 3times to enter the pairing mode).

Add all the lights.

Wait till it is successfully added.
How to connect the Lights to Alexa?
- Launch Smart Life App, sign in your account and make sure the Mesh Gateway (Hub) and Lights is in device list.
- Modify device name so that Alexa can easily recognize, such as:Bedroom Lights, Kitchen Lights, etc.
- Launch the Alexa App, sign in your Alexa account and make sure you have at least one Alexa voice controlled device installed like Echo, Echo dot, etc.
- First connect the Alexa app to echo successfully, and then perform the following operations.
- Tap on “Skills” in the Alexa app menu.
- Search for “Smart Life”. Tap “Enable” to enable it.
- Enter the Smart Life app account and password, then tap “Link Now” to link your Smart Life account to enable the Skill. Now you can start your smart home journey.
- After your Lights is connected with Alexa successfully, you can simply ask Alexa set your recessed Lights like this:
-Alexa(or echo), Turn on the [kitchen Lights].
-Alexa(or echo), set [kitchen Lights] to blue.

How to authorize family to control the Lights?
- Enter the Smart Life APP, Click “Me”.
- Click on “Home Management”.
- Then enter the family that needs to be set up.
- Click your Home Name, such as “My Home”, etc.
- Click “Add Member”.
- Finally enter family account information
How to control Lights at the same time(group)?
- Open “Smart Life” app; Click on the “Home” page.
- Choose one of the Lights you want to control.
- Click the edit icon in the top right corner.
- Click “Create Group”.
- Choose all the Lights you want to control.
- Enter the Group Name.You could turn them on/off together as this group.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why can't I connect to wifi?
Answer:a.Check whether the WiFi password is correct only supports 2.4GHz.Or reset the light and try again. b.Make sure this light is not far from your WiFi router. c.Too many Wi-Fi devices connect to a same router and Wi-Fi signal channels are full. Please set up a minor router for more Wi-Fi devices to connect.
2.The lights appears offline,What should I do?
Answer:Make sure your WiFi router and the Hub is Online and in range.Has your Wifi account and password been changed? You can reset the lights and reconnect it again.
3.I found a new question. What should I do?
