Thank you for purchasing the Peppa Pig Let’s Chat Learning Phone. Stay in touch with your favorite little pig with this exciting smartphone! Explore six engaging features and activities that test your skill with numbers, counting, shapes and more. You can also receive virtual voice messages from George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pia, and use voice-activated play to make pretend phone calls!

UNLOCK THE PACKAGING LOCK
- Rotate the packaging lock 90 degrees counterclockwise.
- Pull out the packaging lock and discard.
WARNING: All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE: Please keep this parent’s guide as it contains important information.
GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit.
- Open the battery cover using a screwdriver (not included)
- Install 2 new AAA (LR03/AM-4) batteries as illustrated. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
BATTERY NOTICE
- Use new alkaline batteries for maximum pertormance.
- Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
- Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable, or new and used batteries.
- Do not use damaged batteries.
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
PRODUCT FEATURES
- On/Off Button
- To turn the unit ON, press the On/Off Button. Press the On/Off Button again to turn the unit OFF.
- Peppa Pig Button
- Press the Peppa Pig Button to hear Peppa’s voice and see fun animations.
- Pig Family Buttons
- Press one of the three Pig Family Buttons (George, Mummy Pig or Daddy Pig) to get a voice message from that character.
- Activity Buttons
- Press the Activity Buttons to play one of the four activities.
- Settings Button
- Press the Settings Button to adjust the ringtone, background music and screen brightness.
- Number Buttons
- Press the Number Buttons to learn about numbers or to answer number-related questions.
- Let’s Chat Button
- Press the Let’s Chat Button to enter the Let’s Chat activity. This activity uses the voice-activation feature. The LED will light up when the button is activated.
- Enter Button
- Press the Enter Button to confirm your choice.
- Left/Right Buttons
- Press the Left/Right Buttons to make a selection in activities or menus.
- Call Button
- Press the Call Button to make a virtual phone call. You will hear the phone ringing and will then be able to leave a voicemail message.
- Cancel Call Button
- Press the Cancel Call Button at any time to exit the current activity.
- Microphone
- The Microphone is used for the voice-activation feature. The suggested distance to keep between the Microphone and your mouth is about 4-5 inches.
- Automatic Shut Off
- To preserve battery life, the Peppa Pig Let’s Chat Learning Phone will automatically power down after several minutes of inactivity. The unit can be turned ON again by pressing the On/Off Button. The unit will also automatically turn OFF when the batteries are very low. A warning will be displayed on screen as a reminder to change the batteries.
- Note: If the unit powers down while playing, we suggest changing the batteries.
ACTIVITIES & FEATURES
- Voice Messages
- Press any of the three Pig Family Buttons (George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig) on the phone to play an animation of that character and to hear fun phrases related to the characters.
- Muddy Puddles
- The whole family enjoys jumping up and down in muddy puddles.
- Count how many times they jump. Press the correct Number Button to answer.
- Leaf Collection
- Leaves fall down in autumn, and that’s when it’s time for Peppa and George to collect leaves with a basket. As these number leaves fall from the trees, help Peppa and George to collect the leaves with the correct number. Press the Left or Right Buttons to move the basket.
- Counting On
- Peppa is helping Daddy Pig get ready for dinner by counting the total number of cupcakes. Help Peppa by pressing the correct Number Button.
- George’s Balloons
- Grandpa Pig helps George blow up balloons. What shape is the balloon? Blow into the Microphone to find out!
- Let’s Chat
- Let’s call Peppa! Press the Let’s Chat Button and your phone speed dials Peppa Pig. Once she answers, Peppa will then ask you to tell her about yourself. Speak into the Microphone to answer:
CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to excess moisture.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow these steps:
- Turn the unit OFF.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit back ON. The unit will now be ready to play again.
- If the unit still does not work, replace with an entire set of new batteries.
