Instructions for Installation

  2. After the side cover is taken down, as shown in the figure below, directly take down the guide plate.

  3. How to install the chain guide plate: Install the chain into the guide plate first, the chain must be mounted on the chain wheel, and please check it again after the installation is completed. Attention: The cutter teeth of the chain shall face forward!
    Attention: The rechargeable electric saw is provided with a device for adjusting the tension of the chain, and when installing the guide plate, the adjusting block must be stuck in the positioning adjustment hole at the tail end of the guide plate!

  4. Please pay attention to the direction of the cutter teeth.

  5. Install the side cover and tighten the nut.

  6. Use the attached screwdriver, insert it into the screw under the guide plate, and use the screwdriver to tighten the chain; please note, turn the screw clockwise to tighten the chain, and turn the screw anticlockwise to loosen the chain.

  7. It is ready for use when 1-3 middle guide teeth are exposed by pulling down the chain. Safety of the working area

  • A. Please keep the working area clean and full of light, as it is easy to cause accidents when operating in a cluttered or dimly lit place. Please do not operate electric tools in an explosive environment (e.g., inflammable fluid, gas, or dust). Electric tools may produce a spark, which may ignite the dusk or smoke.
  • B. Please do not use the product in a rainy or humid environment to prevent a short circuit of the battery.
  • С. Keep children and onlookers away from the operating area to avoid the operation getting out of control due to distraction.

Warnings for personal safety

  • A. Please stay alert when operating electric tools, and please do not use electric tools when you are tired or injured according to common sense, because, under the effect of drugs and alcohol, inattention may cause serious personal injury when operating electric tools.
  • B. Use safety protection equipment and always wear protective goggles. The use of safety protection equipment, such as dust musk, non-slip safety shoes, safety helmet, or hearing protector, under proper conditions, will reduce personal injury.
  • C. Be properly dressed and do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothes, and gloves away from moving parts. Avoid that loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair may be drawn into moving parts.

Use of battery and precautions
Please expose the battery to extreme conditions, e.g., high temperature or shock. It may lead to leakage of electrolyte solution and cause personal injury.

  • A. Please do not check whether the suface of battery is clean and dry before charging.
  • B. The battery of the product is not charged completely before delivery. Therefore, the battery must be charged completely before the first use.
  • C. If the duration of a fully charged battery becomes significantly short, it indicates that the battery is exhausted and must be replaced.
  • D. T he user can only use the original battery attached to the product, and the use of another battery may cause the device to fail to work or be damaged.

Safety instructions and environmental information of the battery.

  • A. Place the charger in a room with a room temperature between +10°C and +22°C, and prevent moisture from entering the charger.
  • В. Check whether the switch is in the off position.
  • C. Connect the adapter of the charger to the corresponding connector of the battery pack.
  • D. Make sure the power supply is consistent with the rated values indicated on the charger and adapter.
  • E. When the red lamp at the charger is on, it indicates that the battery is being charged, and when the green lamp is on, it indicates the charging is completed. The average charging time is 2 hours.
  • F. When the charging is completed, pull off the connector from the power supply, and disconnect the connector from the battery.
  • G. Please make sure that the battery is charged once every three months when it is left unused for a long time.

Working conditions

  • A. Keep the charging temperature of the charger and battery pack at 0°C ~ 45°C, and the storage temperature of the battery is recommended at -10°C ~ +60°C.
  • B. Confirm the working frequency to ensure that the device is working in the optimal state.
  • C. To save the use of battery power and ensure the longest service life, please do not apply too high a load to the device, and it is prohibited to cut tree branches with a diameter greater than 100 mm.
  • D. When stopping operation, pull off the battery pack to prevent the start of the machine by accidentally touching the switch.

Cutting skills

  • A. When the device is working, please keep your other hand at least 15 cm from the cutting area, and it is prohibited to put your hand at the cutting edge.
  • B. The device cannot be used to forcibly see large tree branches, or else the chain may be stuck.
  • C. In cold or humid weather, to protect the battery pack, please place it under waterproof clothing, and please do not use the device in rainy day.
  • D. If the user feels the lack of power or the cutting is not smooth, please check whether the battery runs out.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • A. Please turn off the device before maintenance. Please disconnect the battery from the device, and store the battery in a safe package.
  • B. Please wear gloves when touching the chain. This can prevent sharp blades from scratching the user. Subsequent cleaning and maintenance must be carried out regularly to ensure long-term and reliable operation of the device.
  • C. Please clean the chain carefully after each use. Wipe the chain with lubricating oil, and apply metal protection spray on it.
  • D. After 8 hours of continuous operation, please remove the front cover of the device and clear away sawdust and other debris.

Storage

  • A. To ensure that the battery is fully charged, avoid exposing the device to extremely hot or cold environment.
  • B. If the device is left unused for a long time, please remove the battery before storage.
  • C. The battery and charger must be placed in an instrument box to prevent the entry of heat, dust, and moisture.
  • D. Check whether the switch is at the off state.
  • E. The battery shall be placed in a dry environment, and the storage temperature is around -10°C ~ +60°C.
  • F. The battery must be kept more than 1.5 m from combustibles.
  • G. To ensure the service life of the device and prevent its degradation, please store the device with the battery fully charged. When not in use, the battery shall be charged and discharged at least once every month.
