- The Back Support and ADI Fixed ELITE Hardware should only be fitted, applied, and installed by a healthcare professional trained for these purposes.
- Attempting to fit, apply, or install the product without proper training may result in serious injury.

Warranty
- Our products are designed, manufactured, and produced to the highest of standards.
- If any defect in material or workmanship is found, Stealth Products will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
- Any implied warranty, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall not extend beyond the duration of this warranty.
- Stealth Products does not warrant damage due to, but not limited to: misuse, abuse, or misapplication of product, and/or modification of product without written approval from Stealth Products, LLC.
- Any alteration or lack of serial number, where applicable, will automatically void all warranties.
- Stealth Products, LLC Is liable for replacement parts only. Stealth Products, LLC is not liable for any incurred labor costs.
- Stealth Products warrants against failure due to defective materials or workmanship:

Installation
Tools Required for Installation and Adjustment
- 5mm Allen Wrench for tightening and adjusting bolts (Part B)
- Reducer – Use when attaching CF Backs to 3/4″ (1.91 cm) tubing
Parts Required
- Cap Piece – holds CF back-to-back posts with bolts. (A)
- Bolts – bolts fasten bracket clamps on wheelchair back posts. (B)
NOTICE: Standard and Medium backs use one (1) bolt per clamp. Low backs use two (2) bolts per clamp.
- Fixed Mounting Bracket – connects to the carbon fiber shell and fastens to bracket clamps with bolts. (C)
- Contoured Foam Pad – held in place by the breathable cover. (D)
- Breathable Cloth Cover – covers a contoured foam pad and attaches to the carbon fiber shell with Velcro. (E)
- Carbon Fiber Shell – attaches with bracket clamps to the back posts of the wheelchair. (F)
NOTICE
Use only the hardware supplied with the ADI back on the ADI back. Do not
substitute any other screws, brackets or clamps. Use of alternate hardware or
mounting voids all warranties.
Attaching Fixed CF Back to Chair
- Remove existing wheelchair back support.
- Place the CF Back onto the wheelchair back posts. Attach the cap piece (Part A) by inserting the bolts (Part B).
- Adjust CF Back vertically for desired back support height.
- CAUTION: Do not fully tighten bolts.
- Secure the CF Back by tightening each bolt with the 5mm Allen Wrench. Fully seat the bolt without stripping.
- Check the CF Back to make sure it is secured properly. Have the user sit and check the back for comfort. If adjustments need to be made, have user transfer out of the chair and loosen the bolts (Part B). Then adjust the CF Back vertically if necessary. Re-tighten bolts when adjustment is complete.
NOTICE
The recommended bolt torque is 6.5 ft-lbs (8.8 N·m) Desired seat back angle is achieved by adjusting the seat back with the wheelchair manufacturer’s back post settings.
CAUTION
When positioning the CF Back, the interior portion of the CF Back should be
positioned to make contact at the PSIS to provide optimal pelvic support and
trunk control.
First Time Use
Dealer Assistance
During first-time use by the client, it is advised that the dealer or service
technician assists and explains the set-up to the customer (the user and/or
the attendant). If needed, the dealer may make final adjustments.
CAUTION
ADI backs may not fit every chair. Please consult your clinician or supplier providing your equiupment. DO NOT attach the ADI back with the user in the chair.
User Testing
It is important that the customer is fully aware of the installation, how to use it, and what can be adjusted in order to gain as much mobility as possible. As a dealer, proceed as follows:
- Explain and show the customer how you have executed the installation, and explain the function of the hardware.
- If needed, adjust the hardware to the proper position.
- Explain to the customer possible problems and how to address them.
CAUTION: Do not use ADI backs during vehicle transportation.
Conditions of Use
The ADI hardware is intended for use as installed by the dealer, in accordance
with the installation instructions in this manual.
- The foreseen conditions of use are communicated by the dealer or service technician to the user and/or attendant during the first time use.
- If the usage conditions change significantly, please contact your dealer or a qualified service technician to avoid excessive wear and tear or unintended damage.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Use a soft cloth to clean the back shell.
- Hand wash the foam pad cover with mild, soapy water or detergent and let dry.
- Foam pad should NOT get wet.
WARNING
- DO NOT immerse foam in water.
- DO NOT wash or machine dry.
- DO NOT hand wash in water temperatures above 160°F (70°C).
CAUTION
- Institutions MUST clean and disinfect product between multiple patient uses.
Disinfection
- Wipe gently with a cloth dampened with a household disinfectant.
- Allow foam to air dry thoroughly.
SAFETY
- Always check all mounting hardware, making sure each fastener is properly tightened before using the back support.
WARNING
- User weight limit 250 lb. (113.40 kg)
NOTICE
- Altering an ADI back in any way and/or improper installation will void the warranty.
