PARTS DESCRIPTION
SAFETY

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord cannot become entangled.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

Clean the filter regularly.

Warning: Please do not remove the water tank before reading the instruction manual.

Before the water tank is removed and filled with water, the product must be powered off and placed on a flat level surface.

Clean the water tank every three days.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, subject to extended
manufacturer responsibility. Dispose it separately, following the illustrated
packaging symbols, for better waste treatment. The Truman logo is valid in
France only.
This product complies with conformity requirements of the applicable European
regulations or directives.
In a double-insulated appliance, two insulation systems are provided
instead of an earth wire. No earthing means is provided on a double-insulated
appliance, nor should a means for earthing be added to the appliance.
Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of
the system, and should only be done by qualified service personnel. The
replacement parts for a double insulated appliance must be identical to the
parts they replace. A double-insulated appliance is labelled with the words
‘CLASS II’ or ‘DOUBLE INSULATED”. It can also be identified with the double
insulation symbol.
The Eurasian Conformity mark (ЕАС) is a certification mark to indicate
products that conform to all technical regulations of the Eurasian Customs
Union.
The Green Dot is the registered trademark of Der Gruen Punt
– Duals System Deutschland GmbH and is protected as a trademark worldwide. The
logo may only be used by customers of DSD GmbH holding a valid trademark usage
contract or by engaged waste management companies within the Federal Republic
of Germany. This also applies to reproduction of the logo by third parties in
a dictionary, an encyclopedia or an electronic database containing a reference
manual.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
Assembly
- Use the provided screw to secure the motor body onto the control body.
- Align the base with the fan and use the plastic base screw to secure them together.
- Set the back grill and fit it well on the motor body and secure it with the back grill nut.
- Install the fan blade onto motor shaft and fit the blade nut.
- Open front grill clip and position front grill onto rear grill, close the front grill clip and secure it with the provided screw.
- Insert the corrugated hose into the control body and spray cap on the front grill.
- Open water tank plug like below to fill the tank with water:

- Connect the power cable to the socket. (Note: Make sure the indicated voltage on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V~ 50-60Hz.)
USE
Manual control
- On/Off: Start or stop the fan.
- Speed: It cycles in the sequence of low (1) – mid (2) – high (3).
- Swing/Oscillation: It controls the left and right swinging. Push to start, push once again to stop.
- Mode: Use it to select between the 3 different modes, Normal wind – Natural wind and Sleep wind.
- Timer: When running set the time for automatic shutdown, in standby press it for automatic start. The selected time can be set between 1 and 9 hours.
- Mist: Press to start the humidify function.
Remote control
- 2xAAA size batteries are required.
- Ensure batteries are inserted in the correct direction.
- When replacing, ensure both batteries are changed simultaneously.
- Press the corresponding buttons as explained in the manual control part to operate the fan.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the appliance and remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
- If scale occurs, use a small amount of detergent and clean with clear water after soaking for about 30 minutes.
- To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents at the rear of the motor free of dust.
- Please wipe the exterior parts with a soft cloth soaking a mild detergent, do not use any abrasive detergent or solvents to avoid scratching the surface.
- Clean the water tank every 3 days.
- Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological organisms in the environment.
- Do not permit the area around the humidifier to become damp or wet. If dampness occurs, turn the output of the humidifier down. If the humidifier output volume cannot be turned down, use the humidifier intermittently. Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or tablecloths, to become damp.
- Never leave water in the reservoir when the appliance is not in use.
- Empty and clean the humidifier before storage. Clean the humidifier before next use.
- Warning: Micro-organisms that may be present in the water or in the environment where the appliance is used or stored, can grow in the water reservoir and be blown in the air causing very serious health risks when the water is not renewed and the tank is not cleaned properly every 3 days.
- Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
ENVIRONMENT
This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its
durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling of
electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the appliance,
instruction manual and packaging puts your attention to this important issue.
The materials used in this appliance can be recycled. By recycling of used
domestic appliances you contribute an important push to the protection of our
environment. Ask your local authorities for information regarding the point of
recollection.
