Make sure that the voltage printed on the “Technical Specifications” label of the Arzum OKKA Minio Milko corresponds to the mains voltage of your location. Our company cannot be held responsible for malfunctions caused by any voltage differences and therefore, any potential malfunction will be out of warranty.

The Arum OKKA Minio Milko must only be plugged into grounded socket outlet connected in accordance with the regulations. To prevent damage to your appliance, please do not use extension cables that do not provide enough current

Any repair for this electrical device or its power-supply should be conducted by authorized customer services personnel to avoid danger.

To avoid hazards, repairs to this electrical appliance or its power cord must be carried out by authorized customer service personnel.

If repairs are necessary, please contact Arzum Customer Service. Our company cannot be held responsible for malfunctions that may occur due to misuse and any malfunction that may occur for this reason will be treated outside the scope of the warranty.

To protect against electric shock, DO NOT clean and immerse machine and power cord in water.

Since the appliance is electrically powered, there is a risk of electric shock, so never touch the plug with wet hands.

This appliance must be used by persons who have been given information, supervision or instruction concerning its safe use and who understand the hazards involved.

Children must not play with the appliance and the mains cable, nor must children be allowed to cook or clean the appliance without adult supervision. Keep the appliance and power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

Caution: Keep all packaging materials away from children, as they are a potential source of danger that can lead to death by suffocation. This appliance is intended for use in the home and similar locations, such as the following locations:

• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work environments,
• Farmhouses,
• Places used by customers in motels, hotels and other residential-type environments,
• Sleeping places and places where breakfast is served.

Do not use the appliance outdoors, always protect it from zero or sub-zero temperatures.

ALWAYS use Arzum OKKA Minio Milko on flat and uneven surfaces. Do not place on the edge of a table or countertop, a small impact may cause your appliance to fall to the floor. Please note that your appliance may be filled with hot coffee.

Do not use Arzum OKKA Minio Milko on hot surfaces, near heat sources, open flames or flammable vapors. (Ex. hot stove top, radiator, stove, etc.) Make sure that the power cable does not hang from the table or worktop and does not come into contact with other appliances.

Do not leave Arzum OKKA Minio Milko unaccompanied and unattended during operation.

Your appliance should not be placed in a cupboard while in use. When using your appliance for the first time, simply put water into coffee pot and operate your appliance then discard the waste water.

Do not start brewing coffee process without putting water into coffee pot. There is water-secure security implementation in your appliance. In case operating without water, the appliance will shut off after a while and will not be rerun until it cools down.

Do not put anything other than water, milk, coffee and sugar into the coffee pot.

Do not use the coffee pot in any heater other than this machine. (Ex: on oven, microwave oven etc.) Serve your brewed coffee with cup, do not drink from the coffee pot.

To handle/carry the coffee pot always use a carrying handle After cooking, the energy conduction base on which the cooking chamber is placed may be hot. ALWAYS allow to cool before contact.

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and allow the coffee pot to cool completely. For detailed information on cleaning the appliance, please refer to the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section.

Always unplug the Arzum OKKA Minio Milko from the socket when it has not been used for a long period of time and/or in the event of a malfunction and/or in the event of a hazardous situation.

NEVER pull on the mains cable when unplugging the plug from the socket outlet; always pull by holding the plug itself.

When cleaning and servicing the appliance, make sure that the plug is not in the socket. Only use the appliance in conjunction with the supplied power transmission base.

The values printed on the product or declared in printed documents are the values obtained in the laboratory according to the relevant standards. These values may vary according to the ambient conditions in which the product is used.

USE OF MACHINE

For the ideal flavor, we recommend that you manually adjust the auto brewing altitude detection setting specified in the manual before the first use. Wipe the main body of your appliance clean before first use.

You can also clean the coffee pot by washing it under water. For the first use, start the appliance by filling the coffee pot with water up to the Coffee level and pour this water out and let the appliance cool down.

Your Arzum OKKA Minio Milko Turkish Coffee Machine heats up during use, so do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.

You can only brew coffee with your coffee machine. Do not use any other liquid or solution for boiling or heating.

You can brew coffee for 1-4 people with your Arzum OKKA Minio Milko Turkish Coffee Machine.

When you plug in your machine, the status light will turn white with a beep.

Put enough water in the coffee pot according to the number of people. Use the Arzum OKKA Minio Milko measuring spoon to add the desired amount of Turkish coffee. Add the desired amount of sugar and stir gently to avoid lumps. Make sure that the mixture in the coffee pot does not exceed the Coffee level.

When you place your appliance on the energy transmission base and press the start button, the status light will turn red and the brewing process will start. When the brewing process is finished, your appliance will give an audible warning and the status light will turn back to white.

When you remove the coffee pot from the slot for any reason during the brewing process, your machine will stop the brewing process with an audible and light warning. To continue brewing, insert the pot into the slot and press the start button for the preferred brewing function.

When the brewing process is finished, you can easily serve it by removing the pot.

Always clean the coffee pot with a dry or damp cloth after each use. Never clean the pot by immersing it in water or putting it in the dishwasher.

AUTO BREWING ALTITUDE DETECTION SYSTEM SETTING

Arum OKKA Minion Milk has a smart “Auto Brewing Altitude Detection” system that detects the ideal brewing temperature at its location and enables you to make Turkish coffee with the same flavor anywhere in the world.

The boiling point of water depends on the difference in altitude relative to sea level. Therefore, when the altitude at which your appliance is used changes, you can manually adjust the brewing point of your appliance.

1. Plug the appliance into the socket.
2. Pour water into the coffee pot up to the Coffee line.
3. Without putting the coffee pot in place, press and hold the two buttons on the panel at the same time and when both of the LEDs on the buttons turn red, put the coffee pot in place for no more than 10 seconds.
4. Calibration will start. After calibration, the appliance will give a warning tone and the LEDs will flash. The calibration process is complete.

TIPS FOR BREWING STRONG TURKISH COFFEE

Arum OKKA Minion Milk is a practical machine designed to brew Turkish coffee with the ideal consistency over slow heat.

In the table below you will find the recommended ideal size for cooking STRONG Turkish coffee.

• The quantities given are for a single coffee.
• 1 cup of coffee is the recommended amount. For a strong or soft coffee, you can use more or less coffee as desired.
• Use fresh coffee for a delicious and frothy Turkish coffee.

Brewing :

1. Plug in your appliance. Your product will turn on by itself and the status light will turn white.

2. Put coffee, sugar and then water into the coffee pot according to the recommended proportions in the table above. Stir gently with the help of a spoon. (Figure-1)
   
   Note: For delicious coffee, make sure that inside of the coffee pot is clean.

3. Your appliance can brew coffee for 4 people at a time. Since the cup size you are using may vary, make sure that the water-coffee-sugar mixture does no exceed the Coffee level line in the pot. Otherwise, the coffee may not be brewed  well and/or may overflow from the coffee pot . (Figure-2)
   

4. Insert the coffee pot into the machine. (Figure-3)
   
   Note: If the coffee pot is not fully inserted, your product will not start brewing.

5. Press the Turkish coffee brewing button on the front panel (on the left side of the panel). (Figure-4)
   

6. The machine beeps and the status light around the start button turns red . (Figure-5)

Note: Brewing times may vary depending on ambient temperature, water temperature and mains voltage. On subsequent brewing process, the duration may shorten as the appliance will be hotter.

8. After the brewing process is complete, your machine gives an audible warning and the red status light turns Whiteland goes into standby mode. You can switch off your machine completely by unplugging it

9. After brewing process has finished, you can serve your coffee by pouring into the cup.
   Note: Empty the pot by moving it slightly so that the foam and grounds do not remain in the coffee pot. (Figure-7)
   

10. To cancel the brewing process for any reason, simply press the start button again.

BREWIN G TURKISH COFFEE WITH MILK

You can brew Turkish coffee with milk with your appliance.

To prepare Turkish coffee with milk, use milk instead of water in the ingredient scales given in the “Tips On How To Brew Strong Turkish Coffee” section.

1. Plug in your appliance. Your product will turn on by itself and the status light will turn white.

2. Use milk instead of water in the scales in the table given in the “Tips On How To Brew Strong Turkish Coffee” section. Stir the ingredients gently with a spoon.

3. Your appliance can brew Turkish coffee with milk for 3 people at a time. Make sure that the milk-sugar-coffee mixture does not exceed the Milk level line in the pot.

4. Insert the coffee pot into the machine.

5. Press the button for brewing Turkish coffee with milk on the front panel (on the right side of the panel). (Figure-8)
   

6. For the next steps of the brewing process, please take into account the information given in the “Tips On How To Brew Strong Turkish Coffee” section.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, unplug the machine and allow the coffee pot to cool down.

After draining the water or coffee from the coffee pot and washing the inside of the coffee pot, wipe the outside of the coffee pot with a dry or damp cloth.

You can clean the residues accumulated on the cup bottom with the cleaning brush supplied with your machine.

Wipe the main body of your appliance, including the energy transmission base outside the coffee pot, only with a dry or damp cloth, NEVER clean it by immersing it in water or washing it in the dishwasher.

Do not clean any accessories of your machine using harsh and chemical cleaners (bleach, salt spirit, etc.) other than the cleaners used for this type of equipment. Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal objects, scratching hard sponges, wire cleaners or hard brushes to clean the appliance.

Removing Calcification

Lime inside the water used in time may pile up inside the coffee pot and thus may reduce the performance of your appliance.

You can clean the coffee pot of your appliance with decalcifying product specially designed for electric kitchen appliances or try ecofriendly solutions such as white vinegar.

To clean the coffee pot of your appliance with white vinegar; add enough white vinegar to the appliance to cover the bottom of the coffee pot and leave it for 1 hour, then drain the vinegar and rinse the coffee pot 2-3 times with clean water.

HANDLING AND SHIPMENT

Your device should be kept in its original box to prevent damage to its components during handling and shipping.

Keep the product in its normal position during handling.

Do not drop your device during shipping and protect against impacts.

Failures and damages during shipping after the delivery of the product to the customer are not covered by the warranty.
