IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER. WHEN USING EL ECTRICALAPPL IANCES, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWEDTO REDUCE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND INJURY TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING.

  1. Read all instructions before using this heater.

  2.  This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater.
    Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet ( 0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.

  3.  Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.

  4.  Always unplug heater when not in use.

  5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

  6. Do not use outdoors.

  7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

  8. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

  9. To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.

  10.  Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

  11. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

  12.  A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.

  13.  Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

  14. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap ( outlet/power strip).

  15. Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of hyperthermia include high body temperature, headache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, and rapid pulse. If you begin to experience symptoms related to hyperthermia, turn off the heater and seek medical attention.

  16. To avoid excessive room temperatures which can cause hyperthermia: DO NOT leave product running unattended in a confined space around infants, or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.

DANGER-High temperatures may be generated under certain abnormal condition.
Do not partially or fully cover or obstruct the front of this heater.

CONTROLS OVERVIEW

Panel Overview Indicators Overview REMOTE CONTROL Notes:

  1. Te functions of the 6 buttons on the remote control are the same as those on the control panel.
  2.  If you use the remote control, point it at the approximate level of the control panel with the display. The signal range is 5 meters.

OPERATIONS AND FUNCTIONS

Assembling the Base

  1. Align the joints to connect the two parts as a whole.
  2. Align the base with the screw holes, and then install the three screws.

Turn on/off

  1. Plug the heater into the power outlet, the device emits a beep, and the power indicator lights up, indicating the device in standby mode.
  2. Press the power button once to turn on the heater in high heat mode, LED screen displays HI.
  3. To turn off the heater, press the power button again, the fan stop working in 30 seconds.
  4.  Automatically turn off: The screen light turns off after 15 seconds without any operation.

KEY FUNCTION MODE

Change Work Mode
Press the mode button to change work mode: high heat, low heat. LED screen displays HI or Lo.
Adjust Temperature

  1. The default temperature is 75°F. When the heater is working, short press or   button to set your desired temperature (temperature range: 41-90 °F / 5-32°C).
    To change the temperature fast, long press the or button.

  2. Select+/- mode to enter ECO mode, the screen “A” lights up, and  the system automatically works according to the temperature, the number of temperature will flash four times to confirm your selection.

Celsius Mode

  1. If the room temperature is 1°C below the temperature you set, heating starts in high mode.
  2. If the room temperature is 1°C higher than the temperature you set, heating stops automatically and the fan continues to operate for another 30 seconds.

Fahrenheit Mode

  1. If the room temperature is 2°F below the temperature you set, heating starts in high mode.
  2. If the room temperature is 2°F higher than the temperature you set, heating stops automatically and the fan continues to operate for another 30 seconds.

Switch the Temperature Unit (Fahrenheit/ Celsius)
To switch the temperature units between °F and °C, press and hold the “+” and “-” button simultaneously for 2 seconds.
Note: The remote control can not support this function.
TIMER AND SWING FUNCTION
Set the Timer

  1. When the heater is in use, press the timer button to enter auto shut-off time setting mode, the LED screen displays the default timer setting value “OH” or the previous timer you set.
  2.  Press the timer buton  to choose the hours (0-8H) you need the heater to run before it shuts off automatically.
  3.  Once you’ve selected the desired time, the number of time will flash five times to confirm the setting.

To cancel the time you set
a. Select time: OH.
b. Turn off the heater, and turn on again.
Swing Function

  1. Press button to turn on the swing function, the heater begins to swing.
  2. To turn off the swing function, press the swing button again.

SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEM

  1. Over Temperature Protection
    When the machine is covered, the temperature sensor detects that the temperature around the machine exceeds 122°F / 50°C, the machine will turn off all outputs, power indicator flashes, and buzzer keeps alarming.

  2.  Overheating Protection
    When the machine is covered and heat cannot be released, the internal parts of the machine are overheating, the buzzer will emit a beep, the machine automatically shuts off and the power indicator is on. If over temperature or overheating occurs:
    a. Turn off and unplug the heater.
    b. Check and remove any objects on or adjacent to the appliance that may cause high temperatures.
    c. Wait for the machine to cool down.
    d. Then plug it in, and resume the normal operation.

  3. Tip-over Protection
    The heater automatically shuts off if it tips over.
    If this occurs:
    Return it to normal upright position, the heater can be operated again.

CLEAN AND CARE

  1. Always remove the plug from socket and allow the heater to cool before cleaning.
  2.  Wipe the heater with a soft, damp cloth.
  3.  If the heater will not be used for an extended period of time, store it in a dry place.

REPLACING THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERIES
The remote control uses 2 AAA batteries. Replace the batteries once they run out.
Cautions:
Only use the type of batteries specified. Do not install batteries of other types. Dispose of the used battery according to local regulations. Do not expose batteries to heat or flame. Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

  1. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
  2. Remove the used batteries.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries with the+ and – ends facing as shown.
  4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible Causes Possible Solutions
The room is not warm enough. The temperature is set too low. Increase the

temperature.
The power setting is too low.| Choose higher heat mode.
Room windows are open.| Close the windows.
The heater shuts off automatically.| The internal parts of the machine are overheating.| Turn off and unplug the heater.
The heater falls over.| Return it to the upright position.

Cleaning and Maintenance
It is recommended that the heater be cleaned at least one time during the operating season and before off-season storage in order to provide the optimum level of performance.
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains by switching it off and removing the plug from the power outlet before cleaning.

  • Turn the heater OFF, unplug it and wait for the heater to cool down.
  • Use only a soft cloth to gently wipe the outer surfaces of the heater.
  •  Do not use any cleaning agents or detergents.
  •  Never immerse the heater in water and never allow water to drip into the motor housing. Be sure not to wet the Heating Element and the switches.
  • For storage, you may leave the heater covered to protect it from dust. Store it in a cool, dry location and arrange the cable away from traffic areas so that it will not be tripped over or damaged.
