Model 8087
Hitch Adapter for Class I and Class II Receivers
Specification
*Tongue Weight refers to a combination of the weight that presses down on the trailer hitch, and the weight of the accessory and its load. Example: If a cargo carrier and it’s load (total weight = 150 Lbs.) is to be connected to the upper receiver, the maximum additional tongue weight that can press down on the trailer hitch is 200 Lbs. The combination of these two tongue weights should not exceed 350 Lbs.
Warning
Too much tongue weight can lower the tow vehicle in back, resulting in
traction, steering and braking problems.
Too little tongue weight can reduce rear wheel traction, resulting in
instability, swaying or jackknifing.
Do not exceed the maximum weight rating shown in the Specifications table.
