ASSEMBLING AND SETTING UP

Always wear ANSI approved safety goggles.
Refer to picture below of a completely assembled Product, and Parts Diagram at the end of this manual.

Assemble the Product

  1. Take out 1 Post Component consisting of 1 Post (C), 1 Sleeve (E) 2 Threaded Plates (F) and 1 Self-tapping Screw (J). Double check if all above parts are in place.

  2. Insert 2 Gaskets (G) into the square shaped space in the Post Component, then insert the whole Post Component (with 2 Gaskets (G) inserted) into the open end of a Foot A (D1). Connect Foot A (D1) and Post Component by 2 Gaskets (G), 4 Spring Washers (H) and 4 Bolts (I).

  3. Take out another Post Component and connect it with Foot B (D2) by 2 Gaskets (G), 4 Spring Washers (H) and 4 Bolts (I).

    • Note#1:
The two Uprights that you assembled in above step 2 and step 3 should lean against each other, and the shorter edge of L-shape plate of Foot A and Foot B should be at the inner side. See below pictures.

    • Note#2:
Height of all Uprights must be same. You can adjust their heights by loosing Bolts (I), adjust to suitable positions then tighten the Bolts (I) again.

  4. Assemble 2 Cargo Retainer Components, each shall be assembled using 1 Cargo Retainer (R), 1 Knob (S), 1 Spring Washer (H), 1 Big Washer (L) and 1 T-shape Bolt (O).
    Note:
DO NOT tighten T-shape Bolts (O) with Knob (S) for now. They should remain loose until Step B.7.

  5. Take off Caps (B) from the ends of a Crossbar (A), Slide Cargo Retainer Components and T-shape Bolts (O) into the opening end of the Crossbar (A), make sure two Cargo Retainers (R) are face to face (two Knobs (S) are far away from each other). Replace Caps (B) at the ends of the Crossbar (A).

  6. By completing above Step 1 to Step 5, you should have 2 left Uprights, 2 right Uprights and 2 sets of Crossbar (with Cargo Retainers Components and T-shape Bolts (O) installed). See below picture.

Installation
Mounting this Product to the truck bed requires complete assembly.
If the truck bed has a liner, minor modifications may need to be made to the liner. Components can be bulky to position in place. It is recommended that two people complete the assembly and setup. The installation of this Product should be done by qualified service technicans.
This Product is not compatible with truck beds equipped with Tool Boxes/Side Boxes, or utility Track System, or covered with Caper Shell/Tonneau Cover.

  1. Clean bedrails. Position left Upright to left bedrail as close to cab as possible.
Note: Mount location is different for each bed design and may require adjustment to avoid interference with hardware mounting.

  2. If the truck bed has a liner, two rectangular cut-outs will have to be cut in the liner as shown in the below photos, otherwise the Truck Racks can’t be secured by C-Clamps. Approximate size of cut-outs is 1-1/2” wide x 3-1/2” height. It is recommended that the top and sides of the cut-out be made first, and the bottom edge be folded inward (this will help hold the C-Clamps (A) in place while they are being secured to the Foots). We suggest that the distance between the inner edge of the rectangular cut-outs shall be 6”. Such distance shall NOT exceed 7-1/2” otherwise it will cause an installation failure.

  3. Secure the left Upright on left bedrails with 2 C-Clamp A (M) and 2 C-Clamp B (N), and secure them using 2 Long Bolts (K), 2 Spring Washers (H) and 2 Big Washers (L).

  1. Repeat above Steps to install right Upright.
Make sure the distance between right Upright to cab is same with the distance between left Upright to the cab, so that two Uprights are aligned. See below picture.

  2. Put Crossbar (with Cargo Retainer Components and T-shape bolts (O) installed) on top of the left and right Uprights, alight the T-shape bolts (O) with the holes on top of the uprights.

  3. Measure and center the Crossbar (A) of the Truck Rack.

  4. Secure Crossbar (A) by tightening Locknuts (Q). (Wrench in below picture is not included.) Adjust all Cargo Retainer Components to desired positions, then secure all Cargo Retainer Components by tightening Knobs (S).

  5. Repeat above Step 1 – 7 to mount the rear Truck Rack on the bed rails. When mount the left and right
NOTICE Uprights on the rear of the bedrails, ensure that they are as close as possible to tailgate. Using a tape measure, ensure equal front-rear Crossbar spacing.
NOTICE Some accessories require a specific distance between Crossbars. If installing secondary accessories, check accessory fitment prior to positioning and securing.

  6. Above picture shows the final status of this Product. Please ensure that two Truck Racks are in same height. If not, please release and adjust related hardware to ensure two Truck Racks are in same height, then tighten all hardware again.

  7. Check all connection points in front and rear Truck Racks to ensure all of them are secured tightly.

OPERATION

Adhere to all Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) requirements when using this product. Use ropes and tie downs to securely hold all cargo in place.
Do not exceed the Truck Rack’s maximum capacity of 500 lb. (on-road rating) / 300 lb. (off-road rating).

MAINTENANCE

  1. Frequently check the condition of the Product. Make sure all components are in good condition. If the Product becomes damaged through an accident, or if any weld damage is noted, the Product should be replaced.
  2. Check to make sure that all hardware is tightly secured in place. Keep the Product clean.
  3. When the Product is not being used, it should be removed from the vehicle and stored indoors.
