IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Installation and Safety Tips
- Please read this user manual carefully before using the projector.
- Do not look directly into the lens while the projector is operating. Doing so could damage your eyes.
- Please handle this projector carefully. Dropping or careless handling may damage the projector.
- Be careful while using the power cord. Excessive bending or rough handling may damage the power cord, and pose a risk of electric shock or fire.
- Please do not place any items on top of this projector.
- Only use the power cord supplied with this product.
- Plug the projector into a properly wired electrical outlet with the proper voltage rating.
- Do not disassemble this projector. Disassembling this projector poses a risk of electric shock, and will void your warranty.
- Avoid touching the exhaust vent while the projector is operating, as it may become very hot.
- Allow the projector to cool before handling.
- Exposing this projector to liquids or damp environments may cause electric shock, and could damage the projector.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Unplug the power cord before cleaning the projector.
- Wipe the projector’s case with a damp cloth. A mild detergent can be used if necessary.
- Eyeglass cleaning cloths are recommended for cleaning the projector’s lens.
- Please inspect the projector’s vents regularly to make sure dust isn’t clogging them.
- Use a soft brush to clean the vents.
- It is recommended to unplug the projector if it will not be used for an extended period of ti
General Usage Tips

For the best viewing experience, please use this projector in a darkened area.

To ensure proper heat dissipation, make sure the sides and bottom of the projector have enough clearance for proper ventilation. You can use the height adjustment screw on the bottom of the projector to raise it up.

Change your PC/laptop screen resolution to 1920*1080 for the best clarity.

This projector only supports the Mira-cast WiFi screen mirroring protocol. If you are using an Android phone that supports a different protocol. such as Chrome-cast, there may be no signal or audio but no video. You may need to use a wired connection, or another phone that is compatible with the Mira-cast protocol.

Due to HDCP copy protection, this projector doesn’t support Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu.
However, you can use an Amazon fire stick. This is a common issue for displays, and not a problem with the projector. -
You may need to tum off Dolby sound to make the audio work properly when playing copyright protected material.

This projector accepts HOM!, as well as standard Composite video.
It supports stereo input and output, and Bluetooth audio. Please refer to the
following diagrams to connect the projector and other audio equipment
according to your own needs.

Caution
Do not submerge the remote control in water.
Do not expose the remote control to the outdoors, liquid, moisture, excessive
heat, or fire.
Do not mix old and new batteries together in the remote control.
To avoid battery leakage, please take the batteries out if not using he remote
control for an extended period of time.
The remote control must be lined up with the projector’s IR remote sensor to
function correctly.
PROJECTOR INSTALLATION
Standard Setting
Please refer to the following table to adjust your picture size and distance. (from the lens to the screen)

This table lists the approximate distances required to achieve the listed screen sizes. Distances beyond the minimum and maximum ranges listed in this table may result in a blurry image.
When setting up your projector, the image may appear trapezoid shaped if the projector is not lined up with the screen.

If you are unable to line the projector up with the screen, you can use the 4 point keystone adjustment to correct the image geometry.
Installation Methods
This projector can be used with front and rear projection screens.
The examples below show how to position the projector for the screen setup
that you want.
Ceiling Installation
We recommend contacting a professional installer to mount this projector to the ceiling.
Remove the four rubber pads on the bottom of the projector to expose the mounting holes.
Line up the legs of your universal projector mount with the mounting holes,
and attach it to the projector using M5 x 10mm screws.
(Warning: using screws longer than 10mm may damage the projector)
Warning:
- The projector may be damaged beyond repair if it is incorrectly mounted.
- The projector should only be used in an environment where the temperature does not exceed the range of 5°C-35°C (40°F-95°F). Projector malfunction may occur if this is not adhered to.
- Malfunctioning may occur if the projector is subjected to dusty, wet, moist or smoky conditions.
- Poor ventilation could cause overheating and damage to the projector. Screw holes.
PROJECTOR OPERATION
When the projector is connected to a power source, the projector will enter standby mode. There will be a red indicator ring around the power button
Press the power key on top of the projector or on the remote control.
The indicator ring will turn blue, and the projector will power on.
While the projector is operating, press the power key to turn the projector off. A confirmation prompt will appear on the screen. Press the power key again to confirm you want to shut down the projector. The indicator ring will change from blue to red. The cooling fan will continue running for a short time.
Notice:
If you’re not using the projector for an extended period of time, please
unplug the power supply.
USING THE PROJECTOR
Image focusing
When setting up your projector, the image may be blurry. You will need to adjust the focus to get the best image.
To manually adjust the focus, press one of the focus keys “F+” or ” F- ” on
the remote control. A focus wheel will appear on the screen. Holding down “F+”
or ” F- ” will rotate the focus wheel, and change the focus of the image.
You can also access the focus controls from the projector’s settings menu,
under Projection Setting ➔ Motor Focusing.
Accessing the Projection Settings
Select the settings icon in the upper right corner of the home screen, then
press the “OK” key on the remote control to enter the settings menu.
Select “Projection Setting”. Then select the option you want.
Projection mode:
Your projector supports the following projection setups:

IMAGE ADJUSTMENT
Keystone Correction
Your projector has two ways to adjust keystone correction, Manual keystone,
and 4 point keystone.
For manual adjustment, select the [Keystone Advanced] option in the
[Projection] menu, then select the manual option.
You will see a screen like this:
Adjust the horizontal and vertical keystone settings, using the arrow keys on your remote control, until the image looks like a proper rectangle.
Point Keystone Correction
4 point keystone correction gives you greater control over the image geometry. Select the Side option in the Keystone Advanced menu.
Press the OK button on the remote to enter the Keystone Correction screen.
Step2: Press the button to select the [4-Point Keystone] menu, then press the
[OK] button the enter the sub-menu.
You will see a screen like the one below, with a pair of arrows in the upper left corner:
Use the arrow keys on your remote control to adjust the shape of the image.
Press the OK button on the remote to select the next corner.
Repeat the process for all four corners, until the image looks correct.
If you need to, you can reset the keystone settings to default by pressing the
Menu button on your remote.
Once you are finished, press the Back button to exit the setup screen.
Digital Zoom
Digital zoom is available if you select the Manual keystone optio
Use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the size of the image.
You can shrink the image size down to 50%. Adjust the size until the image fits on your screen.
Note: As the product system is updated from time to time, the specific operation content is based on the actual situation.
Select a Video Source
Select the source channel you want to enter in the list on the left side of the main menu, then press the “OK” button on the remote control. You can also press the Source button on the remote and select which source you want.
Connecting to WiFi
Select the settings icon in the upper right corner of the main menu.
Press the “OK” key on the remote control to enter the settings menu, and
select “WiFi Setting”.
After entering the menu, select the WiFi source that you want to connect to in
the list below, then enter the password and complete the connection.
Note: /As the product system is updated from time to time, the specific operation content is based on the actual situation.
Connecting to Bluetooth
Select the setting icon in the upper right corner of the main menu.
Press the “OK” key to enter the settings menu, then select “Bluetooth
Setting”.
You can turn Bluetooth connectivity on or off, search for devices, and pair
devices that have been found
USING 105 CAST
How to Use iOS Ca
In the main interface, select “iOS Cast”, press the “OK” key on the remote
control to enter the interface, then set up in the order in the interface.
Note: The projector needs to be connected to the Internet for using the iOS
Cast or upgrading the projector for the first time
- The iOS device and the projector are connected to the same network
- 0pen the control center of the iOS device and select Screen mirroring
- Choose the corresponding projection device name.
How to Use Miracast
Select “Miracast” in the main interface and press the “OK” key on the remote control to enter the interface, and then set up in the order in the interface.
- T urn on the WIFI of the Android device. (It is recommended that the projector is connected to the same router or the WIFI of the Android device is not connected to any router)·
- T urn on the “Wireless Display” of the Android device.
- Select the corresponding projector device name
CONNECTING A MEDIA SOURCE
VIZONY RD830 projector has 7 interfaces HDMI ports2/USB ports2/3.5mm, Wired
Network Port*l, headphone output/AV output.
Please select the correct connecting port to connect your device(PC, Phone,
DVD Player, Sound bar, USB, PS4, etc. )

Connecting a USB Disk

Insert the USB disk into one of the USB ports;

From the main menu on the home screen, select one of the options [Movie/ Music/ Photo/ Office Suite] 3)Select the desired file (or folder to enter the sub folder) in the USB disk, then press the [OK] button to play it.

Connecting HDMI devices

Plug in the HDMI cable, or device, into one of the HDMI ports.

Use the main menu to select the corresponding HDMI port as the signal source. You can also press the Source button on the remote control.

Connect to a Composite video source (Such as a DVD Player) Power on your video source.
Connect the included 3 in 1 AV cable to the projector’s AV port.
Use a standard Composite video cable to connect your video source to the 3 in 1 cable.
Select AV as your source from either the main menu screen, or using the Source button on your remote control.
Or open the DVD Player with the HDMI cable in the package.

Connect to the Sound bar/Speaker
If your speaker has an AUX port, please use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the projector’s headphone jack to your speaker’s AUX port. If your speaker has Bluetooth connectivity, you can pair it with the projector. (See the Connecting to Bluetooth section for more details.)
Open a Movie / Music / Photo / or Office Suite file from the USB disk.
- lnsert the USB disk into a USB port on the back of the projector.
- Select the option you want on the home screen.
- Select the desired file(or folder to enter the sub-folder) in the USB disk, then press the [OK] button to play it.
