About the Products

Product Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Brandstand CubieClick®. This product offers an easy way to wirelessly connect a switch (CubieClick) to an existing power outlet or hardwired fixture. Please be sure to read this User Manual carefully to ensure proper installation. CubieClick’s elegant design uses the kinetic energy generated by pressing the switch to send a signal to the receiver for a battery free, remote switch.
The information in this document is subject to change and does not represent a commitment on the part of Brandstand. No part of this document may be reproduced, transmitted in any form or by any means electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, recording or information storage and retrieval systems, or translated into any language for any purpose other than the purchaser’s personal use, without the written permission of Brandstand.

Limited 1 Year Warranty
Products are warranted by Brandstand against manufacturing defect in material and workmanship under normal use for one year from the date of purchase. Defective products will be exchanged for the same or comparable item.
Return Policy
For a refund or exchange, products must be returned within 30 days of original purchase date. Customers must contact Brandstand to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific shipping instructions prior to returning the product. Any product returned without a RMA will be refused. Product must be in original box with original accessories and packaging undamaged, clean and brand-new condition. Products that are incomplete, damaged or have been used will require a deduction in refund. There is a 30% restocking fee on all returned products. Refunds will be issued by check. Refund checks are mailed the 10th day from the date the product is returned. Delivery charges and customized products are non-returnable.
Disclaimer of Damages
In no event shall Brandstand Products, or its suppliers, be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of use or data, or interruption of business, whether the alleged damages are labeled in tort, contract, or indemnity, even if Brandstand Products or its suppliers has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply.

Plug-In Receiver Installation

Unpacking and Set up:
Carefully remove from packaging. Verify that you have all neces- sary components before you dispose of box and packaging.

  1. Plug CubieClick Plug-In Receiver into wall outlet.
    Note: Plug receiver directly into a wall AC outlet.
    Do not plug into a surge protector or extension cord

  2. Plug fixture into CubieClick Plug-In Receiver

Pairing:
(CubieClick pairs with thousands of unique addresses)

  1. Place CubieClick Wireless Switch in desired location.
  2. Press and hold the Plug-In Receiver button for 3 seconds, until light flashes.
  3. Press CubieClick Wireless Switch once.
    (If it is not pressed, within 30 seconds, the receiver will quit pairing mode.)

When the connection is made, the receiver light will stop flashing.
Clearing (as needed):
Press and hold the receiver button for 10 seconds until there are  4 fast flashes. This will clear all learned transmitters, the clearingis complete and it is in a normal state

In-Wall Receiver Installation

Unpacking and Set up:
Carefully remove from packaging. Verify that you have all necessary components before you dispose of box and packaging.

  1. Prepare the necessary equipment: meter, terminal block, wire cutter.
  2. Find the neutral wire and load wire of the fixture, use a meter to separate the neutral wire and the load wire and connect them as shown in the figure.
  3. Connect the load wire (red wire) corresponding to the wireless receiver to the load wire power input terminal, connect the OUT (brown wire) to the load wire power output terminal (fixture termi- nal) and connect the neutral wire (blue wire) to the neutral  wire.
  4. Fixture ground should be connected to standard ground

  1. Place CubieClick Wireless Switch in desired location.
  2. Press and hold the Plug-In Receiver button for 3 seconds, until light flashes.
  3. Press CubieClick Wireless Switch once.
    (If it is not pressed, within 30 seconds, the receiver will quit pairing mode.)

When the connection is made, the receiver light will stop flashing.

The receiver is wired between the power and the fixture (lamp).
The In-Wall Receiver can receive the BLE signal from CubieClick self-powered wireless switch and provides a relay for the load output. CubieClick In-Wall Receiver can pair with several wireless switches and the wireless switch can pair with multiple receivers.

Attention: Receiver should not be fixed in a metal box with a metal cover plate (plastic cover acceptable). Signal performance may be compromised by metal barriers)

Wireless Switch Installation

Unpacking and Set up:
Carefully remove from packaging. Verify that you have all necessary components before you dispose of box and packaging.

Standard Mount
(Adhesive strips work well mounted to hard surfaces)

  1. Remove one side adhesive and adhere to back of the wireless switch
  2. Remove to expose adhesive and apply to your selected surface

Alternate Mount with Fasteners
(May be preferred for fabric surface and added security)

  1. Gently pull the top button off from bottom
  2. Button will rotate and snap free
  3. Confirm placement and insert QTY 2 #6 drywall or wood-screws suitable for receiving material (flat or button head will work)
  4. Snap the cover back on in correct orientation (LED is up)

Safety & Compliance

Important Safeguards

  • Ensure the receiver unit is plugged into either a AC 120V-60Hz, or 250V-50Hz outlet. The use of incorrect outlets could cause the unit to malfunction or catch fire.
  • To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this device with a receptacle in which the slot openings do not align with the blades.
  •  Do not allow children to operate the receiver unit without adult supervision (Operating the switch is child-friendly).
  • Keep the product away from heated surfaces.
  • The receiver unit should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases should be placed on or around the product. It should not be used with aquariums or other water-related products.
  • Do not place or drop product into water or other liquids.
  • Do not plug/unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
  • Do not operate the product if it has a damaged, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if it is dropped in or exposed to water.
  • Place unit where there is good air circulation.
  •  The product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform the servicing.
  • No open flames sources, such as candles should be placed on the product.
  • Product should only be used indoors and in dry locations.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operations is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, includeign interference that may cause undesired operation.

These limitsare designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference ina residential installation. Environmental Protection
This device and its accessories (if included) should not be disposed of with household garbage. Disposal of the devide and its accessories is subject to local regulations. Support proper collection and recycling.

Disposal and recycling information

This symbol (with or without a solid bar) on the device, and /or the packaging, indicated that the device and its electrical accessories (for example, a cable) should not be disposed of as household garbage. these items should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste and should be taken to a certifed collection point for recycling or proper disposal. For more detailed information about device, contact your local city office, household waste disposal service, or retail store. Disposal of the device is subject to WEEE Directive Recast (Directive 2012/19/EU). The purpose of separating WEEE from other waste is  to minimize the potential environmental impacts and human health risk of anyhazardous substances that may be present.
