  • Remove the protective cover
  • Adjust the contact terminals of the charger to match the contact points of your battery. Slide the left and right contact adjusters until theare properly aligned with your battery’s positive and negative terminals
    NOTE: The universal charger includes safety features, which ensure full and safe charging for each and every charge. Should you insert the Li-ion battery in reversepolarity ( the positive and negative mixed up ) the charge will automatically detect and adjust to ensure a full and safe charge.
    NOTE: Make sure only the”+” and”·” terminals of the battery are aligned with thecontacts of the charger. Aligning the charger contacts with any other terminals on the battery may result in damage to the battery.

CONNECTING CHARGER TO POWER SOURCE

When charger is first connected to AC (110V-220V) or DC in-car (12V-15V), all LED lights will flash in sequence from left to right to indicate proper functioning. The first LED light (power indicator) will then remain on and the remaining LED lights, 2nd, 3rd and 4th will turn off.

LED CHARGING STATUS FOR BATTERIES

With battery pack inserted, the first LED light will remain on and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th LED lights (capacity indicators) will flash in sequence to indicate charging status.
NOTE : On the four LED display the LEFTMOST LED #1 will remain lit whenever the charger is connected to a working power source.

  • 30% Charge• #2 and #3 LEDs are on, #3 and #4 LED is flashing
  • 70% Charge· #2 and #3 LEDs are on, #4 LED is flashing
  • 100% Charge- all LEDs are on

CHARGING LI-ION BATTERY PACKS

  • If you are charging or powering a USB device please disconnect the USB device from the USB port before inserting the Li-ion battery pack.
  • Pull back the slide lock and place the battery into the charging tray. Make sure the battery terminals are aligned with the charger contacts.
  • For larger or longer batteries, press and hold down the release button to extend the slide lock before inserting the battery.
  • When the battery is properly inserted and contact is made, the LED indicator lights will show the charging status and begin the charging cycle.
  • Secure the battery into place with the slide lock.
    NOTE : some batteries may need to be positioned vertically

CHARGING AA/AAA Ni-MH BATTERIES

  • Pull back the slide lock and insert one or two AA/AAA sized batteries into the charging tray.
  • Make sure the batteries are placed into the charging tray with the+ polarity facing the LED indicator.
  • Secure the batteries into place by adjusting the slide lock.
    NOTE : On the four LED display the LEFTMOST LED #1 will remain lit whenever the charger is connected to a working power source. Indicators #2-#4 will continue to flash sequentially until the batteries are fully charged.

After battery is fully charged, push black oval button and pull away from battery to dislodge the battery pack

CHARGING A use DEVICE

  • Charge and power up USB devices through the I amp USB output port. For use withdevices such as MP3 players, mobile smartphones and portable gaming devices (USB cable NOT included)
  • Remove batteries from the charging tray. The USB port will NOT function if there are batteries in the tray
  • Connect the USB device to the USB output port on the charger.
  • The charging indicator on your portable device will indicate charging status
    NOTE : On the four LED display the LEFTMOST LED #I will remain lit whenever the charger is connected to a working power source. Indicators #2-#4 will NOT operate when powering a USB device. Reference your USB device for charge status. When using the USB output, all other battery charging functions will not be available.

  • Do NOT modify, dismantle or reassemble the charger.

    This product is NOT a toy. Keep away from children.

  • Insure that all persons who use the product read and follow these warnings and instructions.

  • Do NOT mix cell size or type in the charging tray. Cells inserted into the charging tray must be the same size, capacity, and type (Ni-MH). This may cause damage to the cells and charger malfunction if cells or capacities are mixed.

  • DO NOT CHARGE ALKALINE BATTERY CELLS IN THIS CHARGER.

  • Be careful to avoid dropping the charger or placing heavy objects on it.

  • ONLY charge AA/AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries and 3.6/3.7v and 7.2/7.4v rechargeable Li-Ion battery packs, and devices that can be charged via USB port.

  • Charging any other types of batteries or devices may result in an explosion, battery damage or leaking, which may do harm to one’s life and or property. Improper use of this charger may cause electric shock.

  • This charger is for indoor use only, do not expose to moisture, water or outdoor elements.

Bower Inc.™, via freight prepaid, along with proof of purchase, and will be repaired or replaced, based on S. Bower Inc.™ sole discretion.
