Product Information

The E100 Motor Replacement is a part required for maintaining and repairing the E100 electric scooter. It is designed to replacethe existing motor in case of damage or malfunction. The motor replacement instructions are provided in this user manual to guide users through the process of replacing the motor safely and effectively.

  1. Before starting the motor replacement process, make sure to turn off the power switch and disconnect the charger to avoid potential hock or injury. Following the correct order of steps is crucial to prevent irreparable damage.
  2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the six (6) screws on the deck cover.
  3. Using an 8 mm wrench, remove the two (2) lock nuts at the back of the deck cover.
  4. If you are replacing the motor on the E100 Glow model,] disconnect the deck lights connector from the controller.
  5. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two (2) screws from the battery holder. Remove the deck cover and batteries from the tray and set them aside.
  6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two (2) screws on the chain guard and remove the chain guard, setting it aside.
  7. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the three (3) screws that hold the motor to the frame.
  8. Disconnect the motor from the controller. Use a small pointy  object to depress the locking pins from the prongs inside the connector and remove the connector from the wires.

Instruction

Required Tools: (Not included)

  • A. Phillips screwdriver
  • B. 8 mm wrench
  • C. Small pointy object

WARNING

CAUTION
To avoid potential shock or other injury, turn power switch OFF and disconnect charger before performing any assembly or maintenance procedures. Failure to follow these steps in the correct order may cause irreparable damage.

Step 1
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the six (6) screws on the deck cover (circled in the image below).

Step 2
Using an 8 mm wrench, remove the two (2) lock nuts at the back of the deck cover circled in the image below).

Step 3
This step is for the E100 Glow ONLY, disconnect the deck lights connector from the controller.

Step 4
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two (2) screws from the battery holder (circled in the image below). Remove the deck cover and batteries from the tray and set aside.

Step 5

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two (2) screws on the chain guard (circled in the image below) and remove the chain guard and set aside.

Step 6

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the three (3) screws that hold the motor to the frame (circled in the image below).

Step 7

Disconnect the motor from the controller and using a small pointy object, depress the locking pins from the prongs inside the connector and remove the connector from the wires.

Step 7

Reverse the procedures

  • Put the new motor in place and secure it.
  • Re-connect the motor to the controller.
  • Re-attach chain guard.
  • Place batteries back inside the tray.
  • Re-attach deck cover with six (6) screws and two (2) lock nuts.

Attention : Charge battery 12 hours before using.
