INSTALLATION & CARE

2019-UP DODGE RAM 2500 PROJECTOR HEADLIGHT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

BEFORE INSTALLATION:

• If you experience any difficulties that the instructions did not cover, please seek assistance at a local automotive shop.
• Please wear proper protective equipment before you work on any vehicle.
• An assistant is recommended when removing the front bumper from your vehicle
• Please be cautious when working with the bumper or any parts belonging to the vehicle’s body to prevent scratching
• Do not make direct contact with the halogen bulbs or the wire assembly until the unit has cooled down after use.

TOOLS AND SUPPLIES REQUIRED

• Ratchet

• 10 mm Socket

• Trim Pad Remover

• Flathead Screwdriver

• Socket Extension

• 24″ Socket Extension

LET’S START THE INSTALLATION

1. Remove the fourteen plastic fasteners on  the radiator upper support cover
   
   Remove the fourteen plastic fasteners on the radiator upper support cover
   
   Remove the fourteen plastic fasteners on the radiator upper support cover
   

2. Remove the radiator upper support cover
   

3. Remove the ten 10mm bolts at the top of the upper grille trim
   
   Remove the ten 10mm bolts at the top of the upper grille trim
   
   Remove the ten 10mm bolts at the top of the upper grille trim
   

4. Remove the upper grille trim
   

5. Grab the edge with both hands and pull forward to remove the body trim, it’s a littlle  difficult to take out

6. Remove the two 10mm bolts on the lower grille trim, one on each side
   

7. Remove the seven 10mm nuts on the lower grille trim from underneath the front  bumper
   
   Remove the seven 10mm nuts on the  lower grille trim from underneath the front bumper
   
   Remove the seven 10mm nuts on the lower grille trim from underneath the front bumper
   
   Remove the seven 10mm nuts on the lower grille trim from underneath the front bumper
   
   Remove the seven 10mm nuts on the lower grille trim from underneath the front bumper
   
   Remove the seven 10mm nuts on thelower grille trim from underneath the front bumper
   

8. Remove the lower grille trim
   

9. Remove the eight 10mm bolts at the bottom of the front grille, four on each side
   
   Remove the eight 10mm bolts at the bottom of the front grille, four on each side
   

10. Remove the six 10mm bolts at the top of the front grille
    
    Remove the six 10mm bolts at the top of the front grille
    

11. Unseat the front grille upper leg
    

12. Remove the front grille
    

13. Remove the plastic fastener at the bottom of the headlight, in between the fender  and front bumper
    
    Remove the plastic fastener at the bottom of the headlight, in between the fender  and front bumper
    

14. Remove the 10mm bolt at the bottom of  the headlight, in between the fender and front bumper
    

15. Remove the 10mm bolt and the plastic fastener at the top of the headlight
    

16. Disconnect the headlight harness
    

17. Remove the factory headlight housing
    

18. Remove the two T15 bolts and the 10mm bolt on the headlight lower bracket
    

19. Remove the headlight lower bracket
    

20. Install the headlight lower bracket to the new headlight housing
    

21. Reinstall the two T15 bolts and the 10mm bolt
    

22. Connect the headlight harness to the new headlight
    
    Seat the new headlight assembly in place
    

23. Reinstall the 10mm bolt and the plastic fastener at the top of the headlight
    

24. Reinstall the 10mm bolt at the bottom of the headlight in between the fender and front bumper
    

25. Reinstall the plastic fastener at the bottom of the headlight in between the fender and front bumper
    

26. Please repeat the steps from 13 to 25 for the opposite side
    

27. Reinstall the front grille
    
    Attach the front grille upper leg
    

28. Reinstall the six 10mm bolts at the top of the front grille
    
    Reinstall the six 10mm bolts at the top of the front grille
    

29. Reinstall the eight 10mm bolts at the bottom of the front grille, four on each side
    
    Reinstall the eight 10mm bolts at the  bottom of the front grille, four on each side
    

30. Reinstall the lower grille trim
    

31. Reinstall the seven 10mm nuts on the lower grille trim from underneath the front bumper
    
    Reinstall the seven 10mm nuts on the lower grille trim from underneath the front  bumper
    

32. Reinstall the two 10mm bolts on the lower grille trim, one on each side
    

33. Reinstall the body trim
    

34. Reinstall the upper grille trim
    

35. Reinstall the ten 10mm bolts at the top of the upper grille trim
    
    Reinstall the ten 10mm bolts at the top of the upper grille trim
    
    Reinstall the ten 10mm bolts at the top of the upper grille trim
    

36. Reinstall the radiator upper support cover
    

37. Reinstall the fourteen plastic fasteners on the radiator upper support cover
    
    Reinstall the fourteen plastic fasteners on the radiator upper support cover
    
    Reinstall the fourteen plastic fasteners on the radiator upper support cover
    

38. Close the hood to complete the installation
