The RANSHOU Bonsai trimming scissors 180mm is a tool designed specifically for trimming bonsai and fruit trees. It is made of high-carbon steel for the blade and nylon for the handle stopper. The product is manufactured in Japan.

Caution

Product Usage Instructions

  2. Hold the scissors by the handle with a firm grip.

  4. Position the cutting edge of the scissors carefully around the branch or foliage.
  5. Apply gentle pressure to the handles to close the blades and make the cut.
  6. Repeat the trimming process for other branches or foliage as desired.
  7. After use, wipe off any dirt or debris from the scissors using a dry cloth.
  8. To maintain the blade’s sharpness, sharpen it with a whetstone by following the provided video instructions. Remember to lightly sharpen the back of the blade to remove any burrs.
  9. After sharpening, wipe the blade with a cloth soaked in cutting oil to prevent rusting.
  10. Store the scissors in a dry place to avoid rusting.

CAUTION

  • Do not cut thick branches.
    Capacity: up to 4 mm

  • Do not rotate the blade.

Handling of handle stopper

Turn the handle stopper outward so that it does not interfere with use.

How to sharpen the
Hold the whetstone in your hand, keep it at a certain angle, and sharpen it by pushing it out in the direction of the arrow. Finally, lightly sharpen the back of the blade once or twice to remove the burr.

Care and maintenance

  • After use, wipe off the dirt with a dry cloth and wipe the blade with a cloth soaked with cutting oil.
  • Keep the blade in a dry place as it is easy to rust.
