Product Information

The Soft Serve Pendant is an indoor lighting fixture designed for decorative purposes. It comes with a lamp shade, a fabric cord, a canopy with a ceiling bracket, and terminal boxes. The pendant requires an E27 bulb with a maximum wattage of 22w (bulb not included). The product is intended for indoor use only.

Installation
Follow these steps to install the Soft Serve Pendant:

1. Ensure the power supply is turned off and remove any existing lamp fitting.
2. Securely mount the metal bracket (B) in the ceiling using screws and wall plugs suitable for your ceiling type.
3. Pass the electrical cord through the strain relief of the canopy (B) to determine the desired suspension height of the lamp. Tighten the plastic screw of the strain relief to secure the cord in place.
4. Use the terminal boxes (C) to connect the wires from the pendant to the wires from the power supply. Place the terminal boxes inside the canopy.
5. Place the canopy cup onto the metal bracket and secure it in the correct position using the included screws.

Cleaning Instructions
To clean the Soft Serve Pendant:

• Wipe the surface of the lamp shade with a soft, damp sponge or cloth, and immediately dry with a cloth.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaning tools such as steel wool, scouring sponges, or stiff brushes.
• Do not use strong cleaning agents like white spirit, turpentine, household glass cleaner, or cellulose thinners.
• Only wipe the inside of the shade with a soft, damp cloth or feather duster.

Intended use

The device is only intended to be used indoors. It shall only be used with the components supplied with the Soft Serve Pendant or sold by Creme AB with Soft Serve Pendant defined in their intended use. No modification of the product is allowed, as it could make it hazardous. Crème AB is no liable for material damage or personal injury caused as a result of not following these instructions. In such cases, the warranty will be void.

Installation

When first installing the lamp, keep all components and material that includes
information for the product (within and on the packaging).

• Be careful when you stand near the power cable.
• Loose cables can create tripping hazards.
• Make sure not to damage the power cable.
• Do not use a deformed or damaged power cable.

• Step 1
  Ensure power supply is turned off and remove any existing lamp fitting. Mount the metal bracket (B) securely in the ceiling with screws and wall plugs, appropriate for the ceiling of installation.

• Step 2
  To determine the right suspension height for the lamp, pass the electrical cord through the strain relief of the canopy (B). When you have the desired suspension height of the lamp, tighten the plastic screw of the strain relief.

• Step 3
  Use the terminal boxes (C) to assemble the wires from the pendant with the wires from the power supply. Place the terminal boxes inside the canopy.

• Step 4
  Place the canopy cup onto the metal bracket and secure it in the right position with the including screws.

• Step 5
  Install the light bulb.

Use

• Do not use device underwater. Failure to do so can result in serious injury or death.

Maintenance

• Unplug all connections before cleaning the device.
• Do not use excess water while cleaning the device.
• Avoid getting water inside the stand.
  Only use dry cloths to clean all parts of the device. If the cable is damaged or destroyed, Crème AB or a similar qualified person must replace it. When the light source of this device is used up, sort it as waste according to national laws. Replace bulb with appropriate E27 bulb.

Disposal

Electrical equipment and packaging should not be disposed together with household waste material. Sort all waste in accordance with national laws.

Warranty
