Product Usage Instructions

Before attempting to troubleshoot the iron, make sure to turn off and unplug the iron from the power supply.

Close the valve on the Water Tank and disconnect the hose from the iron.

Wait for the iron to cool down.

Unscrew the cover nut using a wrench if it is overtightened.

Remove the cover nut and fitting from the solenoid valve.

Tilt the iron to the side and gently waggle it. The plunger and spring will start sliding out.

After removing the plunger and spring, ensure that the valve is empty inside.

Insert the spring into the plunger and keep them together.

Tilt the iron to the side and in the plunger and spring into the valve. Turn the iron right side up.

Hand-tighten the cover nut and fitting.
Note: Do not overtighten. -
Plug in and turn ON the iron.

a. If you hear the solenoid valve ‘clicking’ when pressing on the steam button, it means the repair kit was successfully installed.
b. If you don’t hear the solenoid valve ‘clicking’ when pressing on the steam button, it means the repair kit was not installed properly. Repeat the installation process from Step 3.
WARNING Before attempting to troubleshoot the iron, turn off and unplug the iron from the power supply. Close the valve on the Water Tank and disconnect the hose from the iron. Wait for the iron to cool down.
Technical Support Steps

Unscrew cover nut (Use wrench if overtightened).

Remove cover nut and fitting off the solenoid valve.

Tilt iron to the side and gently waggle, the plunger and spring will start sliding out.

After removal of plunger and spring make sure the valve is empty inside.

Insert spring into the plunger and keep them together.

Tilt iron to the side and slide-in plunger and spring into the valve. Turn iron right up.

Hand tighten cover nut and fitting.
Note: Do not overtighten. -
Plug in and turn ON the iron.
- a. If you hear the solenoid valve ‘clicking’ when pressing on the steam button, the repair kit was successfully installed.
- b. If you don’t hear the solenoid valve ‘clicking’ when pressing on the steam button, the repair kit was not installed properly. Repeat installation from Step 3.
