Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure you have a compatible deadbolt installed on your door.
- Remove the existing deadbolt from the inside of your door.
- Take the Philips retrofit lock and install it on the inside of your door using a screwdriver.
- Connect the retrofit lock to your home’s Wi-Fi network using the built-in Wi-Fi module.
- Download and install the Philips Home Access App on your smartphone.
- Open the Philips Home Access App and create a user account to securely manage your lock.
- Use the app to check the lock status, control the lock, and manage user access.
- To enable auto-unlock, activate the feature in the app. Once activated, simply approach your door with your smartphone and knock to unlock it.
- Utilize the built-in alerts feature to receive notifications on your smartphone when someone is pounding or knocking on your door.
- For smart home integration, connect the retrofit lock to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to control and check the lock status with voice commands.
- You can also share access with friends and family members through the Philips Home Access App, allowing them to unlock the door remotely.
