Product Usage Instructions

Charge-Only Dock (CRD-ET8X-PWRDK1-01)

Ensure the base dock includes the power module.
Place the tablet in the dock and secure it using the barrel-style keylock.
To release the tablet, use the easy one-hand release feature.
This dock is resistant to water and dust ingress (IP65) and is E-Mark certified for 12V vehicle systems.
The dock supports VESA 100×100 and VESA 75×75 mounting patterns.
All connectors on the sides of the tablet, including the camera and integrated barcode scanner, remain accessible while in the dock.
It is compatible with Rugged Boot, Expansion Back accessories, and Companion Keyboard.

Charge/Communication Vehicle Dock (CRD-ET8X-VEHDK1-01)

Follow the same steps as for the Charge-Only Dock to securely dock the tablet.
This dock includes a 7-Port Expander Module (PEM) that provides communication ports, including USB-A 3.0/2.0, USB-A 2.0, and 10/100/1000 Ethernet RJ45.
It also features a barrel-style keylock for secure vehicle docking and an easy one-hand release mechanism.
This dock is resistant to water and dust ingress (IP65) and is E-Mark certified for 12V vehicle systems.
The dock supports VESA 100×100 and VESA 75×75 mounting patterns.
