Product Usage Instructions
Cable Routing
When routing the cables for the BantamX, follow these steps:
- For standard transmissions, use the grommet hole on the upper right side of the brake booster.
- For automatic transmissions, use the foam hole on the lower right side of the brake booster.
- Pass the wire harness through the designated holes and plugs carefully.
Installation Steps
- Refer to the provided operational instructions in the Get to know your BantamX pamphlet.
- Follow the cable routing guidelines based on your transmission type.
- Ensure the negative side is connected to a chassis ground.
- Use a screwdriver to make holes in foam or grommets as needed for cable passage.
- After installation, start the engine to activate the system.

NOTES & WARNINGS
- Never reverse polarity on battery cables.
- The chassis ground the sPOD’s negative battery cable.
- Always attach both positive and negative accessory wires to the sPOD’s terminals.
- Any modifications to any of the sPOD wire harnesses will void the warranty.
- Although the sPOD system is weatherproof, do not submerge in water. Do not spray cleaner onto unit or into any openings. Always use a soft towel or cloth for cleaning purposes and or compressed air to dry.
- The system will shut down when voltage drops to 11.6 V (2-minute delay) and requires 12.8 V to reinitialize (start engine).
- Do not tamper, open or remove any factory-installed components; this will void the warranty.
- Do not replace the 2amp fuse with any other rated fuse; this will void the warranty.
- Do not attach any additional electrical accessories to the battery terminals on the BantamX; this will void the warranty.
- The BantamX does not require the use of relays or fuses unless the accessory attached draws more than 30amps
- The BantamX employs self-healing circuits. In the event of a short/overload, the circuit will shut off. Correct the short/overload, then cycle the switch on and off to reset.
CABLE ROUTING
Remove the plastic cover on the driver’s side between the door and the side of the dash for access to the firewall. Remove by just snapping it off.
STANDARD TRANSMISSIONS
Use the grommet hole on the upper right side of the brake booster. (Remove
with pliers)
Be sure to keep a protective cap on. Form a hook on the end of the fish line
and wrap the connector with a little electrical tape.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS
Use the foam hole on lower right side of the brake booster. (Use the flashlight)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Before installing onto the fender, run cable up through the slot from the bottom. Plug the cable into either port. Adjust the cable to ensure the cover will close properly.
- On the driver’s side fender, locate the 2 factory fender bolts and remove them. Align slots over threaded holes and align bracket parallel to fender and tighten both bolts
- Snugly route power leads along the firewall over to the battery using supplied cable ties to secure.
- Connect the Positive wire to the battery terminal and the Negative wire to the chassis ground. Use supplied cable ties to secure all cables.
CONTROLLER INSTALLATION
- Please refer to the Touchscreen or HD instructions for operation and setup.
