3. Choosing the Ear dome
Choose the right size for the patient, then connect the ear dome on the hearing aid.
4. Changing the dome
When attaching a new dome, be sure to press with enough force that you feel a pop or click when it connects. Check to make sure the dome is not pressed flat against the hearing aid because this can block the sound receiver. The dome will connect firmly and click into place but still leave a slight amount of space between the tip of the hearing aid and the dome.
Note: Start with smallest dome, if it causes a whistling sound Dome because the domes are too small for the ears, try larger dome.
CAUTION: Make sure dome clicks into place and is secure to hearing aid.
5. Volume Control
Adjust the volume with the screw driver:
- Turn volume up with clockwise rotation
- Turn volume down with counter-clockwise rotation
Note: Keep the volume at low level when you use for the first time. Then you can increase volume up slowly to find the best volume level.
