Tools Required
Socket set: Ratchet
Socket extension: Cutting tool
WARNING
Do not exceed product rating or tow vehicle lamp load rating, whichever is
lower.

NOTICE
Before you begin installation, read all instructions thoroughly. Proper tools
will improve the quality of installation and reduce the time required. All
steps must be followed to ensure the product will function properly. Once
installed, test for proper function by using a test light or connecting a
properly wired trailer.
Maintenance
Periodic inspection of all wires and connections should be performed to
ensure there is no visible damage or loose connections.
Installation Instruction
Step 1
Locate any USCAR plugs. You may need to loosen a locking tab to remove the
USCAR connector.
Note: The locking tab will be gray and is only on select vehicles. The tab will pull straight back until loosened. It can also be fully removed and replaced.
Step 2
Push the connection point together. Press the connector release and pull apart
the connector.
Step 3
Install the extension harness between the trailer connector and the factory
wiring. Be sure all locks snap into place. Zip tie as needed to secure the
wiring up behind the bumper.
Step 4
Test the functionality using a working trailer or an 7-way tester (CURT Part
58272 / 58273)
