E-WATERBLOCK Long Range installation guide
After verifying the presence of a LoRa connection and, if necessary, having connected the gateway devices to the wi-fi, proceed with the installation of the E-WATERBLOCK Long Range.
Portal login
Ask for admin credentials provided by Eltek once the registration form on the
portal has been completed.
Go to https://www.eltekwebportal.com/ and login.
The login with admin credentials allows the installation of the device on the portal (web app).
Add and install a new E-WATERBLOCK on the portal
Creation of a new building
Create a new building clicking on the specific icon (1) , then click on ADD
NEW (2). Follow the portal instructions and save.
Assignment of installation intervention.
To assign the installation of E-WATERBLOCK Long Range or another task to the
intervention team, select the building interested and click on “new
intervention” (3), select the team member and briefly describe the operation
to be implemented (installation of a new piece or intervention in case of
anomaly).
Install a new E-WATERBLOCK on the portal
The installer has to login to the portal with its specific profile (the admin
defines installer profile) and click on the intervention icon (4).
Select the one you want to take care of from the list of interventions and click on “manage” (5).
Fill the “new device installation” fields by entering the device code and the passkey included in the box. Set the flow limits of the E-WATERBLOCK to be installed (in case of customized profile) and click on “install device”.
Installation of E-WATERBLOCK.
- Turn off the water; screw the metal ring nut to the end of the inlet pipe and the lower part to the outlet pipe of the household appliance or toilet.
- Turn the orange lever clockwise and release it, it will go back into the position by itself. Open the tap and check that the hydraulic connections are properly sealed.
- Make the water circulate in the duct to allow the switching.
- After few minutes the LED located in the upper part of the device will start flashing twice consecutively every four seconds: the device is on and attempting to connect.
- Once the connection is complete, the LED starts flashing once every 4s.
- At the end of the physical installation of the device, close the intervention on the portal by clicking on the “close intervention” button.
- Attention: the device must always be full of water otherwise if it is empty it will switch off after about 10 minutes and you will have to switch it on again for its correct use.
Device use
The device periodically sends data about application consumption to the cloud and notifications about intercepted and blocked anomalies.
Consumptions are collected on graphic charts or on lists.
In case of anomaly, the device will automatically shut off interrupting the flow of the water.
After identifying the cause of the problem and proceeding to resolve it, turn the orange lever clockwise to reactivate the device.
The anomalies that can be detected are
- Continuous flow below the minimum flow set for at least 1′
- Continuous flow above the maximum flow set for at least 3”
- Volume related to a continuous flow higher than the maximum value set
In case of flow anomaly turn the orange lever clockwise 90° and release it to reset the device.

Garbage collection
Information on the correct management of waste from household Equipment pursuant to the European Directive 2012/19/EU. The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol shown on the equipment or its packaging indicates that the product, at the end of its useful life, must be collected separately from other waste to allow its proper treatment and recycling. The user must therefore deliver, free of charge, the end-of-life equipment to the centers for the separate collection of waste of electrical and electronic equipment, or return it to the dealer in accordance with the procedures established by the legislation. The equipment contains a battery that is not easily removable which does not have to be removed by the user for delivery, but it has to be let inside the product. The appropriate separate collection of discarded equipment allows a proper recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal, helping to avoid the possible dispersion of hazardous substances and negative effects on the environment and health. Illegal dumping of the product by the user involves the application of administrative sanctions provided by the legislation in force.
