OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CONNECT TO POWER SOURCE
- Plug the device’s AC power cord into an AC wall outlet.
- To turn the device ON, turn the volume knob clockwise.
- To turn the device OFF, turn the volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
- switch off the device completely, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
IMPORTANT: Disconnect the AC cord from the power outlet to protect the set during heavy thunderstorms.
OPERATE THE RADIO
- Rotate the volume knob clockwise to turn the radio on and adjust it the desired sound level. When on, the red power indicator light will be lit.
- Use the function dial to switch between AM/FM.
- Adjust the antennas. For FM, adjust the length and angle of the telescopic antenna. For AM stations, adjust the body of the radio (the antenna is built- into the radio).
- Adjust the tuning dial to select the radio station.
NOTE: When the broadcast is strong, the tuning indicator will light up. When the broadcast is weak, the tuning Indicator may not light up, even if the sound is still audible through the speaker.
CONNECT AN AUXILIARY INPUT DEVICE
- Connect an audio device with a 3.5mm connection (such as an MP3 player) to the aux port.
- Use the external device to play the music.
- Use the radio volume dial to adjust the volume.
CONNECT HEADPHONES
- Connect headphones to the radio’s 3.5mm headphone port.
CAUTION: Using headphones at high volumes can damage hearing.
