Get Started
- Insert 2 AA batteries into the TX141-Bv2 sensor. Check polarity.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries into the station. Check polarity.
- Allow sensor and station to remain 5-10 feet apart for 5 minutes to lock in the sensor signal.
- Set time.
- After 5 minutes place sensor outside in a shaded location.
Fahrenheit/Celsius
- Press and release the +/°F/°C button to switch between
Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature display.
Set Time

Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds to enter setting mode.
12H will flash, press +/°F/°C to select. Press SET to confirm. -
Hour will flash, press+/°F/°C to set. Press SET to confirm.

Minutes will flash, press +/°F/°C to set. Press SET to confirm.
HI/LO Temperature Readings
- Press SET/HI/LO button to view the LO records.
- Hold the SET/HI/LO button for 2 seconds to manually clear the LO records in memory.
- Press SET/HI/LO button again, to view the HI records.
- Hold the SET/HI/LO button for 2 seconds to manually clear the HI records in memory.
- The records will automatically reset at 12:00AM.
Temperature Trend Arrows
The temperature (2°F / 1°C) trend indicators update every 15 minutes or less .
- Temperature has risen ^
- Temperature has not changed >
- Temperature has fallen ^
Outdoor Sensor Search
- Hold +/°F/°C for 3 seconds to search for the outdoor sensor.
- If the signal is lost, station will display the LAST DATA recorded for 10 minutes, after that 10 minutes, the station will display dashes “–”.
- After 30 minutes, station starts looking for the sensor automatically.
Low Battery Icons
- Battery icon near outdoor temperature, change batteries in the outdoor sensor.
- Battery icon near indoor temperature, change batteries in the temperature station.
Position Outdoor Sensor
- Mount the Outdoor Sensor on a north-facing wall or in any well shaded area. Under an eave or deck rail is preferred.
- The maximum wireless transmission range to the station is over 300 feet (91 meters) in open air, not including walls or floors.
- Be sure the outdoor sensor is mounted vertically.

Care and Maintenance
- Do not mix old and new batteries
- Do not mix Alkaline, Standard, Lithium or Rechargeable Batteries
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries are installed with correct polarity (+ and -).
- Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period
- Remove expired batteries promptly.
