The package includes 2 6mm x 16mm button-head Allen bolts for installation. Part Numbers: 76840, 76841

Product Usage Instructions

Removal of Stock Seat:

  1. Using a 6mm Allen wrench, remove the two Allen bolts from the left passenger grab rail. These bolts will be used to install your Mustang seat.
  2. Repeat the procedure to remove the right grab rail.
  3. Locate and remove the two 6mm hex bolts which were covered by the hand rail with an 8mm hex wrench or socket. These will not be used to install your Mustang seat.
  4. Lift the rear of the stock seat, pull up and back to remove the seat from the frame.

Installation of Mustang Seat:

  1. Install the provided 6mm x 16mm Allen bolts through the fender and into the frame. Ensure these bolts are tightened. Place the Mustang seat on the frame and slide it forward to engage the nose bracket with the frame receiver.
  2. Insert one long stock Allen bolt through the left grab rail’s forward mounting hole, through the Mustang seat’s forward mount, and thread it into the frame. Keep this bolt somewhat loose. If the bolt is difficult to thread, adjust the alignment of the Mustang seat’s mounting inserts with the frame hole using a blunt tool such as a Phillips screwdriver.
  3. Align the rear grab rail holes with the rear mounts in the side of the Mustang seat. Ensure the saddlebag release stem is in the grab rail’s release mechanism, and thread one short stock Allen bolt through as before.
  4. Repeat the procedure with the right grab rail.
  5. Slowly tighten the four Allen bolts evenly, working back and forth from the left to the right side, until all bolts are tightened. Enjoy the comfort and custom look of your new Mustang seat!
