Product Information
Product Name | Mono Kit |
---|---|
Description | The Mono Kit is a DIYclassD amplifier kit equipped with various |
features for controlling power, brightness, and input gain.
Features|
-
LED Switch: Allows adjustment of the brightness of the front
indicator light. -
12V Trigger: Enables the creation of a network between multiple
DIYclassD amplifiers for synchronized power up and standby. -
Front Switch: Controls the power amplifier when the 12 Volt
trigger option is not used. -
Input Gain Jumper: Alters the input gain setting of the
Amplifier Module.
LED Switch
The LED switch allows you to adjust the brightness of the front indicator light. There are three available brightness levels:
- FULL: Sets the indicator light to full brightness.
- HALF: Sets the indicator light to half brightness.
- OFF: Turns off the indicator light.
12V Trigger
The 12 Volt Trigger feature allows you to create a network between multiple DIYclassD amplifiers. To use this feature:
- Connect a 3.5mm mini-jack cable between the 12V Trigger port of one amplifier and the 12V Trigger port of another amplifier.
- When the preamplifier is turned on, the rest of the amplifiers in the system will also turn on automatically.
Front Switch
The front switch is used to turn on and off (standby) the power amplifier. If you are using the 12V Trigger option, the 12V trigge signal will override the front switch.
Input Gain Jumper
The Amplifier Module contains a pinheader (J200) with a jumper that can be used to alter the input gain setting. The available gain settings and their corresponding positions are as follows:
Position | Function | Overall Gain |
---|---|---|
Open | Low gain | 11.8 dB (3.9x) |
1 – 2 | Mid gain | 21.8 dB (12.3x) |
2 – 3 | High gain | 27.8 dB (24.5x) |

12V Trigger
The 12 Volt Trigger is a powerful feature that comes equipped on all new DIYclassD amplifier kits.
This simple 3.5mm mini-jack connection allows you to create a simple network between all of your DIYclassD amplifiers for a more seamless power up and standby experience. When connected, it will control the power of all other products in the system. When you turn on the preamplifier, the rest of the system will turn on automatically.
Front Switch
The front switch can be used to turn-on and turn-off (standby) the power amplifier when the 12 Volt trigger option is not used (when used, the 12V trigger overrules the front switch).
Input Gain Jumper
The Amplifier Module contains a pinheader (J200) with jumper to alter the
input gain setting:
