Product Usage Instructions

  1. Start by allowing your child to explore the numbers and math symbols on the Number BubbleBrixTM.
  2. Engage in guided activities to build number sense:
    • Create Your Own Number Sentence: Encourage your child to create number sentences using the Number BubbleBrixTM. For example, they can create a sentence like “4 + 2 = _”.
    • Use Counters: Have your child use counters to represent the numbers in the number sentence they created. This helps them visualize the equation.
    • Find the Answer: Once your child has created a number sentence, have them find the Number BubbleBrixTM that matches the answer. This activity helps them reinforce their understanding of addition or subtraction.
    • Continue Playing: Keep the learning and fun going by creating more number sentences and exploring different combinations.

Guided Activities

Number BubbleBrix™ are the per fect tool for practicing number sense and improving fine motor skills. To get started, have your child explore the numbers and math symbols on your Number BubbleBrix™.

Follow these engaging activit ies to build number sense:

Order Numbers 1–10

Together with your child, practice counting numbers 1–10 aloud and find one set of numbers 1–10. Then, have your child practice counting independently while connect ing the Number BubbleBrix™ in sequential order.

Using Counters

Common household items can be transformed into fun ma the counters. Some examples include beans, paper clips, cotton balls, buttons, etc. Be sure to have at least 10 of the same items. Give your child a pile of counters and place the numbers in the Number BubbleBrix storage jar. Without loo king, have your child reach into the jar and select a number. Then, ask them to match the same number of counters with the number on their block. Continue playing until all numbers have been selected.

Count and Pop

Lay out numbers 1–10 and lay some counters out in a row on a flat surface. Have your child count the number of objects and then pop the matching number. To make t his activity more challenging, lay out the counters in a scattered or circular arrangement.

Number Memory

Use the Number BubbleBrix™ to create a classic memory game! Together with your child, count out two sets of numbers 1–9. Place the number BubbleBrix™ face down on a flat surface. Take turns with your child flipping over two BubbleBrix. If two matching BubbleBrix™ are flipped over, connect the matching BubbleBrix™, and take another turn. Once all BubbleBrix have been picked up, the player with the most pairs wins.

Create Your Own Number Sentence

Have you child create number sentences using the Number BubbleBrix™, for example, 4 + 2 = _. Have your child use counters to represent the number sentence. Then, have your child find the number that matches the answer. Continue playing by creating more number sentences.
