Product Information

The Wireless Weather Station with Atomic Time + Date, model S77925v3, is a device that provides accurate weather information and displays the time and date. It comes with an outdoor sensor (model TX141TH-Bv4) that transmits data to the weather station. The weather station has various features such as an adjustable backlight, auto-dim settings, indoor comfort level indicator, moon phase display, and seasonal foliage scene.

Product Usage Instructions

Power Up

  1. Insert 2-AA batteries into the outdoor sensor.
  2. Insert the 5.0V Power Adapter into a working outlet and connect the Power Jack end to the back of the weather station.
  3. Optional: Insert 3 AA batteries for backup.
  4. Place the sensor outside in a shaded location to protect it from the sun’s heat.

Settings Menu

  1. Hold the SET button to enter the Settings Menu.
  2. Use the +/- buttons to adjust values.
  3. Press SET to confirm values and move to the next setting.
  4. Press the LIGHT button at any time to save and exit.

Atomic Time

The weather station automatically synchronizes with atomic time. No manual adjustment is required.

Adjustable Backlight

You can adjust the backlight settings of the display. Follow these steps:

  1. Hold the LIGHT button to enter the Auto-Dim Settings Menu.
  2. Press the +/- buttons to turn the Auto-Dim feature on or off. Press LIGHT to confirm.
  3. Press the +/- buttons to adjust the starting hour. Press LIGHT to confirm.
  4. Press the +/- buttons to adjust the stopping hour. Press LIGHT to confirm and exit.
  5. Note: Only the starting and stopping hour can be set.

Indoor Comfort Level

The weather station displays indoor comfort level based on relative humidity. The following levels are indicated by arrows:

  • 10%RH to 25%RH – Comfort Level
  • 26%RH to 39%RH – Comfort Level
  • 40%RH to 75%RH – Comfort Level
  • 76%RH to 83%RH – Comfort Level
  • 84%RH to 99%RH – Comfort Level

Moon Phase

The weather station displays the current moon phase based on the lunar calendar and the set year, month, and date.

Seasonal Foliage

The forecast section of the weather station displays a foliage scene that changes seasonally. The dates for each season are pre-programmed.

Power Up

  1. Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
  2. Insert the 5.0V Power Adapter into a working outlet. Then insert the Power Jack end into the back of the Weather Station. Optional: Insert 3 “AA” batteries for backup.

  2. Use the +/- buttons to adjust values.
  3. Press SET to confirm values and move to the next setting.
  4. Press the LIGHT button at any time to save and exit.

  1. Language: The language selected in this menu will control other menu items, as well as your full weekday readout.
  2. Atomic OFF: When Atomic OFF is selected, you will move directly to 12/24 Hour setting.
  3. DST: Select Automatic ON for correct daylight saving time adjustments.
  4. Weekday: Will set automatically when your Year, Month, and Date are set

Atomic Time

  • Your station will automatically search for the Atomic Time Signal at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
  • Press the SET button to manually start or stop a search for the WWVB Atomic Time Signal.
  • The Tower Icon will flash while searching, and remain solid on screen when the WWVB Signal is received.

Adjustable Backlight

  • Press the LIGHT button to adjust the backlight intensity.
  • There are 4 brightness levels, plus an off option

Auto-Dim Settings

Program your display to automatically dim during preselected times.

  1. Hold the LIGHT button to enter the Auto-Dim Settings Menu.
  2. Press the +/- buttons to turn the Auto-Dim feature on or off. Press LIGHT to confirm.
  3. Press the +/- buttons to adjust the starting hour. Press LIGHT to confirm.
  4. Press the +/- buttons to adjust the stopping hour. Press LIGHT to confirm and exit

Note : Only the starting and stopping hour can be set

Indoor Comfort Level

Forecast Icons

  • The forecast icons use the station’s internal barometer to predict conditions to come within the next 12 hours. For more info, watch our video here: bit.ly/forecast_vid.
  • The Snow Icon will show when temperatures are below 32°F (0°C) and rain or storms are predicted.
  • The Sun Icon will show in daylight hours (7am to 6:59pm) and the Moon Icon will show during nighttime (7pm to 6:59am) for clear or partly clear forecasts.

  • Pressure Number
    Your Relative Pressure reading will come from your station’s internal barometer. Allow up to 10 days for automatic calibration. Or you can program your local pressure value in the Settings Menu. The arrows on the left represent rising and falling tendencies.

  • Pressure History Graph
    Read from left to right, the Pressure History Graph indicates the rise and fall in air pressure over the past 24 hours.

History Records

From the normal time display, press and release the HISTORY button to toggle through indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity records with time and date stamps.

Resetting Individual Records

  1. Press the HISTORY button until viewing the value you’d like reset.
  2. Hold the (-) MINUS button until dashes appear, indicating that value has been reset to your current readings.

Note: When an add-on Rain Sensor is connected, the Rain History will show first when the HISTORY button is pressed. There is no history for add-on Temperature/Humidity sensors.
Rain History: 1 Hour, 24 Hours, 7 Days, 1 Month, Year, and Total.

Customizable Alerts

  1. Hold the ALERTS button until the display changes to the Alert Settings.
  2. Use the +/- buttons to activate/deactivate and adjust alerts settings. Press ALERTS to confirm your selection.
  3. Your programmed alerts are active when the and / icon appear on the LCD.

Activating/Deactivating Alerts
When in the Alerts Settings Menu, use the +/- buttons to activate or deactivate alerts. Indicated by the icons in that section.

Alert Sounds

  • When alert value is reached, station will beep 5 times each minute, until out of alert range. Press any button to stop the alert sound.
  • The Alert Icon will remain flashing until out of the alert range.

Extra Sensor Area
This station can display data for an add-on Rain Gauge as well as up to three additional Temp & Humidity Sensors. These readings will all appear in the upper left section of the LCD.LA-CROSSE-TECHNOLOGY-S77925v3-Wireless-Color-

Add Extra Sensors:

  1. Install batteries into your extra sensor(s).
    Note : For Temp/Humidity sensors, be sure to select different channels (1,2,3) before you insert batteries.

  2. Hold the EXTRA button on the station until the Reception Indicator starts to animate. This will start a search for your Extra Sensors.

  3. Your sensor(s) should connect within the next few minutes. Press the EXTRA button to cycle through Extra Sensor and Pressure data. The Auto Scroll Icon will appear when activated.

Delete Extra Sensors:
It’s possible the station will pick up a neighboring sensor. To remove it, press the EXTRA button to view that sensor. And while viewing it, hold the – (MINUS) button to delete it.

Search for Outdoor Sensor

If you are seeing “NO” or dashes for your outdoor readings, please try the following steps:

  1. Hold the + button to search for your outdoor sensor. The Reception Indicator will begin to animate.
  2. If after 3 minutes the sensor still isn’t connected, bring the sensor inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and station.
  3. Press any button on the station 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.
  4. Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, then into your station.
  5. If your outdoor data is still not appearing after these steps, please contact our support staff. For additional help visit: bit.ly/basic_restart.

Low Battery Indicator

  • Low Battery Icon by Outdoor Temperature, replace batteries in the Outdoor Sensor.
  • Low Battery Icon by Indoor Temperature, replace batteries in the Weather Station.
  • Low Battery Icon in the Extra Area, replace batteries in sensor that is showing at the time

Battery Replacement Instructions
When batteries of different brands or types are used together, or new and old batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharged due to a difference of voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and rupture and may cause personal injury.

  • Do not mix Alkaline, Lithium, Standard, or Rechargeable batteries.
  • Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
  • Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types.
  • Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device before battery installation.
  • Ensure the batteries are installed correctly about polarity (+ and -).
  • Remove batteries from the product during periods of non-use. Battery leakage can cause corrosion and damage to this product.
  • Remove used batteries promptly.
  • For recycling and disposal of batteries, and to protect the environment, please check the internet or your local phone directory for local recycling centers and/or follow local government regulations.
