Mounting Instructions

Hang the thermometer on a wall using nails, pegs, or hooks through the built- in mounting holes.

Outdoor Mounting

  • Choose a location that is not subject to direct weather elements.
  • Direct sunlight will cause high-temperature readings and direct rain, hail, snow…etc. may damage to the thermometer.
  • A shady, protected, north-facing location is often a great choice.

Indoor Mounting

  • Choose a location away from heat sources such as windows and vents.

Temperature Calibration

  • Your thermometer has been pre-calibrated and should not need adjustment.
  • Before adjusting your temperature, allow the thermometer to sit for at least 2 hours in the same location.
  • To manually adjust your temperature, gently turn the temperature adjustment on the back until desired setting is reached.
