Charging the EM515
- Connect the small end of the included USB charging cable into the Mini USB charging port of the EM515.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to your PC’s USB port.
- The [Power indicator Light] illuminates green while charging.
- The GREEN LED [Power indicator Light] light shuts off when the EM515 is fully charged (approximately 3 hours).
NOTE: Do not over charge. NOTE: Make sure you charge your EM515 for a full 4 hours before using it for the first time.
Pairig the EM515

Make sure the EM515 is turned off.
-
Keep your EM515 and mobile phone within 3 feet of each other during the pairing process.

Press and HOLD the [ON/OFF] button for 8 seconds until the [Power indicator Light] light flashes RED and GREEN alternately.

The EM515 is now in Pairing Mode and ready to connect to your mobile phone. NOTE: To enter the Pairing Mode, you must press and HOLD the [ON/OFF] button for approximately 8 seconds. This must be done while the headphones are powered off. Pairing mode will last 2 minutes. After two minutes the headset will return to standby mode.

Set your mobile phone or other Bluetooth enabled device to search for Bluetooth devices.

When the phone finds the EM515, confirm by selecting EM515 from the list.

Select “Pair” to connect the EM515 to your phone. NOTE: Depending on which model mobile phone you are trying to connect the EM515 to, it may be necessary to enter a passcode and the following message (or similar) may appear on your phone’s display: Enter passcode “0000″ if prompted by the phone.

Your mobile phone will confirm that the pairing was completed, and prompt you to accept the connection.
Please respond YES to connect the EM515 to your mobile phone. If the pairing was successful, the EM515’s [Power Indicator Light] flashes green slowly every two seconds. -
When attempting to reconnect the EM515 to your mobile phone, you may see the message below, and your mobile phone will prompt you to accept the connection request to the EM515, and an option notto ask this again. Please accept the connection, and if you select “Don’t ask this again your phone will automatically accept future connection requests from your EM515. NOTE: The screenshots above are typical of many Bluetooth enabled phones in the market today, and are used to assist in the explanation of the pairing process. Your mobile phone’s interface and interaction with the EM515 may be slightly different from the illustrations above.
Pairing with SONY Playstation® (PS3™)
To pair the EM515 with a SONY PlayStation 3, follow the instructions below:
- Go to the PS3 main menu, scroll to and select “Settings”.
- Scroll to and select “Accessory Settings”.
- Scroll to and select “Manage Bluetooth Devices”.
- The menu will ask: “The Bluetooth device has not been registered. Do you want to register it?”, then select “YES”.
- Select “Start Scanning” from the PS3 menu.
- Once the PS3 has discovered the EM515, the screen will read “Select the Bluetooth device to register”, then select “EM515”
- The PS3 will ask for a passkey. Enter [0000] then select “OK”. Now press [O] (the PS3 circle button) to get back to the previous menu.
- Scroll to and select “Audio Device Settings” to change the “Input Device” to “”EM515″
NOTE: “Input Device” is the microphone, and deter- mines the method of
how others will hear you speak. By default, the “Output Device” will now
switch to “EM515”. “Output Device” is the audio, and determines how you will
hear the PS3 audio and others speaking.
To test the connection, speak into the EM515 and you will see the bars above
the “Microphone Level” moving, if not, repeat the pairing process.
Press “OK” to confirm the new settings. You are now ready to use the EM515
with your PS3 Entertainment System. If you would like to hear the PS3 audio
through your TV or Audio System, scroll to “Output Device” and switch to
“System Default Device”.
For further assistance with Bluetooth settings on your PS3 please refer to
your PS3 instruction manual.
Using your Wireless Headphones
Powering ON/OFF

To turn ON, press and hold the [ON/OFF] button for 3 seconds until the RED [Power Indicator Light] light blinks.

To turn OFF, press and hold the [ON/OFF] button until the RED [Power indicator Light] light blinks and shuts off.

When your EM515 is powered on and connected, the RED [Power indicator Light] illuminates periodically two times quickly. When your EM515 is powered on and not connected the RED [Power indicator Light] illuminates periodically one time.
Answering/Ending a call -
To answer a call, press the [ON/OFF] button once.

To end a call, press the [ON/OFF] button once.
If the EM515 is powered on and a call comes in, the EM515 will beep to
indicate the incoming call.
To make a call
Dial the number and press the send button on your ?&blles phone, the call is
automatically transferred to the EM515.
Adjusting the volume
Push up or down and HOLD the [Control Wheel] button to adjust the volume to
the desired level.
NOTE: You may also adjust the volume from your mobile phone’s volume
control. A beep will be heard when maximum volume is reached.
Redialing the last number called (Dependent on your phone supporting this
feature)
Longpress the [ON/OFF] button for two seconds. The last number called will be
redialed.
Stereo Bluetooth
These EM515 allows you to listen (in full stereo) and control* the music on your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, gaming console, computer or mp3 player and supports the following Bluetooth profiles:
- A2DP – Advanced Audio Distribution Profile
- AVRCP – Audio/Video Remote Control Profile
- HSP – Headset Profile
- HFP – Handsfree Profile
To use the EM515 to listen/control music, your Bluetooth enabled device must
support the A2DP and AVRCP profiles. Please refer to the user guide of your
Bluetooth enabled device for more information.
*The EM515 wireless headphones are compatible with any brand of Bluetooth-enabled phone or music device that supports Advanced Audio Distri- bution Profile (A2DP) and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP).
In order for Bluetooth devices to communicate with one another properly, they
must utilize the same Bluetooth profile. To determine the profiles supported
by your device (mobile phone, gaming console, computer or mp3 player), please
refer to the device’s user guide.
Certain Bluetooth features including those listed may not be supported by all
compatible Bluetooth- enabled devices, and/or the function: of such features
may be limited in certain devices.
Playing music
To enjoy wireless music on your EM515, you must open the music player or
application on your device, then quickpress the [Control Wheel] button. Once
playback has begun, you can control the music or answer phone calls from the
control buttons of the EM515 (not all mobile phones support the control of
music using Bluetooth).
NOTE: Some phones or bluetooth enabled media players require that you
first quickpress the [Control Wheel] button on your device before you can
control the music with the EM515.
Play/Pause
Quickpress the [Control Wheel] button to pause the music. To resume music
playback, quickpress the [Control Wheel] button again.
Skipping songs
Quickpull the [Control Wheel] down to go to the previous track.
Quickpull the [Control Wheel] up to go to the next track.
Using as wired headphones
The EM515 can also be used as wired headphones.
This is helpful if the battery is drained and you are not near a charging
source.
- Connect one end of the included Audio Cable to the Audio-in jack on the EM515.
- Connect the other end of the Audio Cable to the headphone jack of your audio device.
- Control your music with your audio device.
Location of controls
Adjusting the volume
Push up/down and HOLD the [Control Wheel] button to adjust the volume to the
desired level. NOTE: You may also adjust the volume from your mobile
phone’s volume control.
Adjusting your headphones
You can adjust the headphones to fit to your comfort by adjusting both sides.
Storing your Bluetooth EM515
Fold the EM515 as shown below, when traveling with or storing your EM515.
Troubleshooting tips
I can pair the EM515 with my Bluetooth device, but I cannot hear any music?

Make sure your Bluetooth device supports A2DP profile.
I can not get the EM515 into Pairing Mode -
Make sure the EM515 is turned off before beginning the pairing process

To enter the Pairing Mode, you must press and HOLD the [ON/OFF] button for approximarely 8 seconds. This must be done while the headphones are powered off. Pairing mode will last 2 minutes. After two minutes the headset will return to standby mode
My choke phone 1s not able to par wath the FM515 -
Make sure that you fully charged the EM515 before pairing.

Keep your EM515 and mobile phone within 3 feet of each other during the pairing process.

Check that your phone’s Bluetooth feature is turned ON.

Try turning the EM515 OFF, and then turning them ON again

Many mobile phones have an auto reconnect option when first attempting to reconnect to a newly paired Bluetooth device. Make sure you accept this option, so that your EM515 automatically reconnects to your mobile phone (check the user guide of your mobile phone for more information regarding this option).

Try unpairing the EM515 from your phone, and repeat the pairing procedure.
I hear dstortien, and the sound qualny is noor -
Try keeping the EM515 closer to the Bluetooth enabled device.

Check that the battery is charged enough.
The sound is very low -
Try adjusting the volume by using the [Control Wheel] on your EM515,; make sure the volume on your mobile phone is turned up as well
Safety information
CAUTION: Do not use this device while operating amotor vehicle. Although the EM515 offers handsfree operation, they cover both ears of the user, and are not suitable for use when driving.
- Do not use these EM515 while driving.
- Observe all signs in the designated areas where some electronic devices or RF radio products are required to be switched off. These could include airplanes, hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially explosive atmospheres.

In the unlikely event that this product is defective, or does not perform
properly, you may within one (1) year from your original date of purchase
return it to the authorized service center for repair or exchange.

- Prepay all shipping costs to the authorized service center, and remember to insure your return.
- Include a return shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), atelephone contact number, and the defective unit within the package.

Your product will be repaired or replaced, at our option, for the same
orsimilar model of equal value if examination by the service center determines

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, ‘misuse,
