AMP Research 75327-01A BedStep

Product Information

The product is an AMP Research AMP Part #75327-01A designed for the Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500/3500 model years 2020-2024. It consists of brackets, a torque wrench, a support bar, a support strap, PT screws, a step pad, and linkage arms. The product is American-designed, engineered, and manufactured by AMP Research.

Product Usage Instructions

Assemble the brackets labeled “Bracket A” and “Bracket B” as shown. Torque the assembly to 33 ft-lbs / 44 Nm.
Remove the support bar using a 21mm deep socket and a 13mm socket or wrench.
Set the assembly into position and replace the support bar. Slide the support strap over the stud and use the supplied hardware to bolt the strap to the assembly. Torque to 41 ft-lbs / 55 Nm.
Insert PT screws into corresponding holes and torque them to 6 ft-lbs / 8 N.m. Be careful not to overtighten as it may damage the step pad.

Maintenance Tips

Always use appropriate handholds when stepping up to or down from your truck’s cargo bed.
Wash the step pad surface and linkage arms with mild soap and water using a soft brush or sponge to remove mud, dirt, or road grime. Rinse with fresh water.

Warranty Information

The product is covered by a limited warranty provided by AMP Research. The warranty period is three years from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance. Remedies under this warranty include repair or replacement of any defective item. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Assemble brackets as shown. 33 ft-lbs / 44 Nm
Remove the support bar with a 21mm deep socket and a 13mm socket or wrench.
Remove 2 nuts and set the assembly into position.
Reuse factory nuts and Torque to 41ft-lbs/ 55Nm.
Replace the support bar and slide the support strap over the stud. Use supplied hardware to bolt the strap to the assembly. Torque to 41ft-lbs/ 55Nm.
Insert PT Screws into corresponding holes and torque to 6 ft-lbs / 8 N.m.
NOTE: Overtightening may damage the step pad.

Here’s what you should know.

OPERATION

The AMP Research BedStep® is foot-operated and deploys and retracts with a nudge of your foot.
To deploy, press down using your left foot, on the forward outside corner of the step pad.
To retract, gently kick the underside of the step pad.
Max Load Capacity: 300 lbs.
Always use appropriate handholds when stepping up to or down from your truck’s cargo bed.

MAINTENANCE TIPS

The step pad surface and linkage arms can be washed with mild soap and water using a soft brush or sponge to dislodge any mud, dirt, or accumulated road grime. Rinse with fresh water.
To prevent slipping, avoid applying waxes, lubricants, or protectants like Armor All® to the step surface.

LIMITED WARRANTY

AMP RESEARCH warrants product to be free from defects in material and workmanship, for terms specified below, provided there has been normal use and proper maintenance. All remedies under this warranty are limited to the repair or replacement of any item found by the factory to be defective within the time period specified.
If you have a warranty claim, first you must call our factory at the number below for instructions. You must retain proof of purchase and submit a copy with any items returned for warranty work. Upon completion of warranty work, if any, we will return the repaired or replaced item or items to you freight prepaid. Damage to our products caused by accidents, fire, vandalism, negligence, misinstallation, misuse, Acts of God, or defective parts not manufactured by us, is not covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY TIME PERIOD IS AS FOLLOWS: THREE YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE CREATED HEREBY ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE SAME DURATION AND SCOPE AS THE EXPRESS WRITTEN WARRANTY. OUR COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE.
