Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the microwave oven, make sure to read the instruction manual thoroughly.
  2. Ensure that the microwave oven is placed on a stable and flat surface.
  3. Connect the microwave oven to a power source using the provided power cord.
  4. Open the microwave door and place the food or beverage you want to heat or cook inside.
  5. Close the microwave door securely.
  6. Set the desired cooking time and power level using the control panel. Refer to the instruction manual for specific instructions on setting the time and power level.
  7. Press the start button to begin the cooking process.
  8. During cooking, do not leave the microwave unattended. Always monitor the food or beverage being heated or cooked.

PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE : for quick food heating by microwave radiation.
This appliance is designed for use in domestic and similar applications, in particular:

  • in personnel kitchen zones at stores, offices, and industrial facilities;
  • at agricultural farms;
  • by clients at hotels, motels, and other residential facilities;
  • in private boarding houses.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

  1. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply grid, ensure that its specifications correspond to the nominal voltage of the appliance. Do not use socket adapters as these may be the cause of a fire.
  2. Do not use accessories and spare parts other than those supplied by the Manufacturer. If such parts are used the Manufacturer’s warranty will become void.
  3. Do not operate the appliance if its power cable, plug, and other parts are damaged.
  4. In case of power cable damage it should be replaced, to avoid dangerous situations, by the Manufacturer, a service center,r or similarly skilled personnel.
  5. A slight unpleasant odor may occur during the first use; it will disappear after using the appliance several times and is caused by eventual residues of lubricants and other substances on internal surfaces and on heating elements. We recommend heating up a cup of water several times before the first use.
  6. The appliance should be installed in such a way that there is a gap between it and other objects.
  7. Do not obstruct the ventilation openings to avoid overheating.
  8. Do not use the appliance if the door latches are not operational.
  9. After use disconnect the plug from the electric socket and ensure that it is not placed directly on the appliance, near sources of fire or water.
  10. The appliance contains a UHF wave emitter which can only be set up by a skilled technician, therefore do not open the lids or otherwise breach the integrity of the unit’s housing.
  11. The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play with the appliance.
  12. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  13. Do not heat fats and oils as their temperature is difficult to control. 14 After use wipe its surface with a dry or damp cloth to remove drops of fat and food residues. Drops of fat may cause smoke to appear and even lead to ignition.
  14. Use large diameter vessels to boil water and do not fill them to the top to avoid splashing. Do not use narrow-necked utensils.
  15. Remove the peel from potatoes and sausages or pierce it with a fork.
  16. The light inside the chamber is provided for illuminating the food and is not designed for other purposes (room lighting, etc.).
  17. Do not use metal containers and utensils with metal components.
  18. Containers may get very hot during cooking. Use special mitts to remove containers. Be careful when opening the container, there is a risk of hot steam discharge.
  19. Open popcorn packets and roasting bags carefully, holding them at a distance from your face.
  20. The device is not designed to operate from an external timer or a separate remote control system.
  21. This model is intended for use as a stand-alone. Do not embed or use in the closet!
  22. Use only utensils designed for microwave ovens.
  23. Do not heat foods and liquids in tightly sealed containers as they can explode!
  24. The microwave oven is designed for heating food and beverages. Drying food or clothing and heating mats, slippers, sponges, wet clothes, and similar things can lead to injury, ignition, and fire.
  25. If smoke occurs, turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the power supply.
  26. Liquids may get overheated in the microwave oven, i.e. heated above the boiling point, however without actual boiling. Sudden and violent boiling can occur after you have removed the vessel from the oven.
  27. Be careful when heating up baby food. Check the temperature of baby food before feeding.
  28. Do not heat or cook eggs in shells. They can explode even after the unit has stopped heating up.
  29. Regularly clean the seals of doors, chambers, and adjacent parts. Insufficient cleanliness of the furnace can lead to damage to the surface and to a dangerous situation.
  30. The oven should be cleaned regularly, any food residues should be removed.
  31. Untimely cleaning of the furnace may damage the surface, reduce the service life of the device, and may also lead to danger.
  32. Special requirements for transport (shipment) or sale: none.
  33. Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the present manual over along with it.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY

OPERATING PROCEDURE PREPARATION

  • Remove the microwave oven from the packaging.
  • Check the appliance for damage paying particular attention to oven door functionality (in case of any damage apply to an authorized cervice centre).
  • Place the microwave oven on a dry corrosion-resistant surface. Install the oven so that there is a gap of at least 10 cm between its rear surface and the nearest wall and at least 20 cm between sides and nearest walls. The free space above the oven should be at least 30 cm.
  • Free access of air to the oven should be provided from all sides for adequate ventilation.
  • The oven should be located at least 5 m away from TV sets, radios, and antennae to avoid interference.
  • Do not install a microwave oven in a cabinet.
  • Install the oven so that its rear side faces the wall.

OPERATION OF THE DEVICE

CLOCK SETUP

  1. Press the «Часы» («Clock») button, «00:00» will appear on the display.
  2. Turn the regulator dial to set the hours. Hours are adjustable within the range of 0 to 23.
  3. Press the «Часы» («Clock») button to confirm the setting.
  4. Turn the regulator dial to set the minutes. Minutes are adjustable within the range of 0 to 59.
  5. Press the «Часы» («Clock») button to confirm the setting. The time is set.

Note

  • If the time set in Step 4 is not confirmed within one minute the setting will become invalid;
  • In no time is set, it will not be displayed when the appliance is turned on.
  • To reset the clock, repeat steps 1 to 5.

TIMER SETTING

  1. Press the «Таймер» («Timer») button, «00:00» will appear on the display.
  2. Turn the regulator dial to set the desired time. The maximum setting is «95:00».
  3. Press the «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») button to confirm the setting. The timer will start the countdown.

Note: No program setting is possible during the timer countdown.

  1. Press the «Микроволновая печь» («Microwave») button, «P100» will appear on the display.
  2. Press the «Микроволновая печь» («Microwave») button repeatedly, or turn the regulator dial, to set the power level.
  3. Press the «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») button to confirm the setting.
  4. Turn the regulator dial to set the cooling time. The maximum setting is «95:00».
  5. Press the «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») button to start cooking.

DEFROSTING BY WEIGHT

  1. Press the «Вес разморозки» («Weight Defrost») button once, and «d01» will appear on the display.
  2. Turn the regulator dial to set the weight of the food. Weight is adjustable within the range of 100 to 2000 grams.
  3. Press the «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») button to start defrosting.

DEFROSTING BY TIME

  1. Press the «Время разморозки» («Time Defrost») button once, «d02» will appear on the display.
  2. Turn the regulator dial to set the desired defrost time. The maximum time value is «95:00».
  3. Press the «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») button to start defrosting.

Note

  • The power level for defrosting is P30 (30 %) and it is not adjustable.
  • An audio signal will be emitted to remind you to turn the food over during defrosting.
  • If you do nothing, the oven will continue operation.

MULTISTAGE COOKING
A maximum of 2 stages can be adjusted for cooking. If defrosting is selected as one of the cooking stages, it will be automatically set as the first stage.

Note:
The timer and auto cooking mode cannot work in this mode. You can press the «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») button to extend the cooking time in this mode.
Example: In order to defrost the food for 5 minutes and then cook it at an 80 % power level for 7 minutes, proceed as follows:

  1. Press the «Время разморозки» («Time Defrost») button once, «d02» will appear on the display.
  2. urn the regulator dial to set the defrosting time to 5 minutes.
  3. Press the «Микроволновая печь» («Microwave») button once, «P100» will appear on the display.
  4. Turn the regulator dial to set the power level to P80 (80 %), then press «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») to confirm the setting.
  5. Turn the regulator dial to set the cooking time to 7 minutes.
  6. Press «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») to start the defrosting.

FAST COOKING

  1. In standby mode press the «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») button to cook food at 100% power for 30 seconds. Each pressing of the same button will extend the cooking time by 30 seconds. The maximum time setting is 95 minutes.
  2. In standby mode turn the regulator dial to the left to set the cooking time to 95 minutes at 100% power, and then turn the dial to set the desired time. Turn the dial to the left to reduce the time; turn the dial to the right to increase the time.

Note: When the maximum time setting «95:00» is displayed, turning the dial to the left will reduce the time from 95 to 0 minutes; turning the dial to the left will increase the time from 0 to 95 minutes.

CHILD LOCK FUNCTION
This function locks the microwave oven to prevent unauthorized operation of the oven by children. When the oven is connected to the power supply and is in standby mode the child lock is unlocked by default.

  • Locking: In standby mode press and hold the «Стоп/Отмена» («Stop/Cancel») button for 3 seconds; a long audio signal will be emitted to confirm activation of the child lock mode; the lock signal will appear on the display.
  • Unlocking: In the locked state press and hold the «Стоп/Отме-на» («Stop/Cancel») button for 3 seconds; an audio signal will be emitted and the lock icon on the display will disappear.

QUERY FUNCTION

  • In the cooking mode press the «Часы» («Clock») button; the current time will be shown on the display for three seconds.
  • In the cooking mode press the «Микроволновая печь» («Microwave») button to view the power level. The current setting will be displayed for three seconds.
  • In the multi-stage cooking mode, the query function can be activated in the same way as described above.

AUTO COOKING

8 automatic preset programs are provided in the microwave oven.

  1. Press the «Автоматическое приготовление» («Auto menu») button once or turn the regulator dial to the right; «A1» will appear on the display.
  2. Press the «Автоматическое приготовление» («Auto menu») button repeatedly or turn the regulator dial to select the desired menu.
  3. Press the «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») button to confirm the setting.
  4. Turn the regulator dial to set the food weight.
  5. Press «СТАРТ/+30 сек» («START/+30 sec») to start cooking.

MAINTENANCE

  • Disconnect the power cable from the power socket.
  • Wash the microwave oven regularly, and remove all food residues, fat, and other contaminants.
  • Use only mild non-abrasive detergents, sponges, or soft cloth to clean the door, housing, door glass, and inner walls of the chamber. Do not use hard sponges and brushes with metallic particles. These can scratch the surface of the appliance. Non-observance of this requirement can cause a reduction in the unit’s service life.
  • Do not remove the microwave emitter shield.

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND WAYS TO FIX THEM

Before contacting the service center, check the device yourself:

  • Make sure that the oven is connected to the mains.
  • Check the mains voltage.
  • Fill a glass with 150 ml of water and put it in the oven, close the door tightly. The lamp inside the oven should go out.
  • Turn on the microwave for 1 minute.
  • The light inside the oven should light up.
  • Check if the fan is running. Bring your hand to the air vents.
  • Check whether the roller stand rotates (it can move both clockwise and counterclockwise).
  • Check if the water in the glass has warmed up.
  • If the microwave oven does not work after checking, contact the service center.
  • Only qualified personnel of service centers can make repairs.

GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

  1. The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:

    • b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.
  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust, or other contamination on the appliance).
