Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the hair curler, make sure your hair is clean, dry, and free from any styling products.
  2. Plug in the hair curler and wait for it to heat up.
  3. Section your hair and hold a small section of hair between the curling barrel and the clamp of the hair curler.
  4. Close the clamp and wrap the hair around the barrel, holding it for a few seconds.
  5. Release the clamp and gently slide the hair curler out of the curled section of hair.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for the remaining sections of hair.
  7. Allow the curls to cool down before styling or brushing them.

The hair straightener hair curler is a household appliance and is not intended for industrial use!

In order to avoid situations dangerous to life and health, as well as premature failure of the device, it is necessary to strictly observe the following conditions:

  1. Use the device strictly for its intended purpose.

  2. Before starting operation, make sure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the number indicated on the device.

  3. Do not pull the power cord if it touches the edges of objects with sharp edges, squeezed by some objects or tangled.

  4. Do not lay the power cord and do not place the appliance itself in places with high humidity, on a hot surface, near heat-emitting appliances or an open flame.

  5. The hair straightener should not be used if:

    • the power cord is damaged;
    • the device has visible damage;
    • the device fell from a height;
    • moisture got on the device.
  6. Never mind the power cord on the rectifier.

  7. Never place a working appliance on soft pillows, wool blankets, etc.

  8. The device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of life experience or knowledge unless they are supervised or instructed to use the device by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to prevent playing with the device.

  9. If the device is not in use, make sure that it is turned off!

  10. Do not keep the plug in the mains:

    • if the appliance does not work or does not work properly;
    • before and during the care of the device;
    • after completion of work with this device. Do not pull or carry the appliance by the power cord
  11. Remove the power cord by the plug to avoid damage to the power cord and do not remove the plug from the power outlet with wet hands.

  12. If the power cord is damaged, its replacement must be carried out by the manufacturer,
    the service department or similar qualified personnel in order to avoid danger. Do not use the device to straighten wet hair or wigs!

ATTENTION! Risk of electric shock! Never use the appliance if your hands are wet while taking a bath or in the shower, near the sink, or in other containers with liquid. If the rectifier has fallen into the water, immediately unplug the power cord from the power outlet. Do not touch water under any circumstances if the appliance is connected to the mains. If you use the appliance in the bathroom, in order to avoid dangerous situations after use, be sure to disconnect it from the mains. Water condensate is not allowed to enter the device. DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE

WORKING PROCEDURE

  1. Connect the device to the power supply and hold the ON/OFF button (2) for 2-3 seconds. The indicator light with the temperature indication will light up.
  2. Choose 1 of 5 modes (130, 150, 170, 190, 210 ° C) Using the switch (7). After two minutes, the device will heat up and be ready for use.
  3. Comb your hair and divide it into equal strands.
  4. Take one of the strands and fix the ends of the hair with a retainer located on the heating element. Evenly wind a strand of hair on the heating element and leave them in this position for 5-8 seconds (depending on the type and structure of your hair).
  5. Next, unscrew a little more than half the length of the hair and release the lock. Do the same with other strands.
  6. After curling, it is necessary to let the hair cool down without combing it and not trying to disassemble it into smaller strands. The time can be reduced to produce light waves rather than crisp curls.
  7. When the strands cool down, they can be combed and laid to create your perfect image.
  8. After use, it is necessary to disconnect the curling iron from the power supply. You can put the device away for storage only after it has completely cooled down!

CARE OF THE DEVICE

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Wait until the heating element cools down. Use a soft, thick cloth for cleaning. Do not immerse the device in water and do not allow water to get on the device body. The device should be stored in a box in a dry place. Do not wrap the wire around the appliance. Do not pull or hang the appliance by the power cord.

  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:

    • the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    • the safety rules and requirements are observed.
  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and
    setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

    • mechanical damage;
    • normal wear of the appliance;
    • non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
    • improper installation or transportation;
    • natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the
    • Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
    • ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
    • repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
    • use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
    • failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
    • remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units, and chargers;
    • consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.
  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).
