Product Information

• This product is a luminaire designed for installation in accordance with local codes and the National Electric Code (NEC).
• It is intended for outdoor use and should be installed with a power supply (transformer) rated maximum of 300 watts (25 AMPS) at 15 volts.
• The luminaire comes with a faceplate, gasket, lens, MR16 lamp, mounting screws, flat washers, anchors, and a horseshoe mount.
• The maximum wattage for the lamp should not be exceeded.
• The luminaire has a low voltage cable that is intended for shallow burial of less than 6 inches (152 mm).

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before installing or servicing the luminaire, ensure that the power is turned OFF.
2. Install all luminaires at least 10 feet (3.05M) away from pools, spas, or fountains to avoid the risk of electrical shock.
3. Ensure that the power supply (transformer) used is suitable for the luminaire’s maximum rating.
4. Make wiring connections using UL listed wire connectors suitable for outdoor use.
5. Position the low voltage wire and wire connector within 6 inches (15.2 cm) from a building structure, luminaire, or fitting.
6. To install the luminaire:
7. Remove the faceplate, gasket, and lens by unscrewing the screws.
8. Insert the correct wattage and type of lamp marked on the fixture label into the socket. Do not exceed the maximum wattage.
9. Secure the lens, gasket, and faceplate back onto the housing using the previously removed screws. Tighten them completely using a screwdriver in a star pattern.
10. Attach the horseshoe mount to the desired location and mark 3 points for anchors from the holes on the mount.
11. Drill proper holes on the marked locations and insert the anchors. Attach the horseshoe mount onto the anchors using washers and mounting screws. Tighten them with a screwdriver.
12. Strip both leads from the luminaire pigtail and connect them to the main supply cable leads using wire connectors.
13. Adjust the housing to your desired direction using the thumb screws on the side of the housing.
14. To install/replace the glare guard:
15. Remove the faceplate from the housing.
16. Attach or replace the glare guard as needed.
17. Secure the faceplate back onto the housing using screws.

WARNING – To reduce the risk of FIRE OR INJURY TO PERSONS.

• Turn off/unplug and allow to cool before reducing lamp.
• Lamp gets HOT quickly!
• Do not touch the hot lens, guard or cowl.
• Keep lamp away from materials that may burn.
• Do not touch lamp at any time.
• Use a soft cloth.
• Oil from skin may damage lamp.
• Do not operate the fixture with a damaged or missing lens or shield.

PRODUCT DIMENSIONS

Remove Faceplate and Lens

Unscrew the screws and remove the faceplate, gasket and lens from the housing.

Install/Replace Lamp

Insert the lamp with the correct wattage and type marked on the fixture label.
CAUTION: Do not exceed maximum wattage marked on luminaire label.
NOTE: DO NOT touch lamp with bare hands. Use soft cloth to handle lamp.

Install Lens and Faceplate

Place the lens, gasket and faceplate back onto the housing. Secure them with the screws previously removed. Hand tighten until snug. Then, use a screwdriver moving in a star pattern to secure them completely.

Install Horseshoe Mount

Attach the horseshoe mount on your desired location and mark (3) points for anchors from the holes on the horseshoe mount.
Drill proper holes on the location and insert the anchors into the drilled holes. Attach the horseshoe mount onto the anchors. Pass the washers over the mounting screws and thread the mounting screws into the anchors to secure the horseshoe mount. Hand tighten until snug with a screwdriver.
NOTE: SOME APPLICATIONS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR PERMANENT MOUNTING AND DO NOT REQUIRE OR WARRANT THE USE OF SCREWS AND ANCHORS

Wire Connection

Strip both leads from the luminaire pigtail. Using two wire connectors (sold separately), connect the leads from the luminaire to the main supply cable leads.
Adjust the housing to your desired direction by using thumb screws on the side of the housing.

Remove Faceplate

Unscrew the screws on ring and remove the faceplate from the housing.

Install Glare Guard

Install the glare guard onto housing and secure with screws previously removed by using a star pattern to tighten them.
