All function buttons illuminated green: When the appliance is ready for operation; press any key for power on.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil, or plastic from the device.
  • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10cm free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

CAUTION:

  • Improper handling of electrical equipment is dangerous and can be lethal. Please pay attention to the safety precautions in this manual, in particular the following:
    • Danger of scalding beware of hot water in a cabinet or for outside use.

WARNING!

  • There is sharp needle upper the capsule adaptor. Do not put your hand or finger close to any part near the needle after the adaptor has been removed.
  • Do not operate the machine with an empty water tank or water is less than MINIMUM level.
  • Do not open the handle when the machine is brewing.
  • Be careful, the adaptor can be very hot after brewing!
  • Always pull out the power plug before cleaning the machine.
  • Only use the machine in a dry room.
  • Thoroughly rinse out the water tank with fresh water before using for the first time. Clean the machine using a damp cloth only.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • WARNING: The capsule holder must not be opened during use.
  • The coffeemaker shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use
  • The coffeemaker must be operated with the decorative door open or the cabinet door open.
  • WARNING: Do not use the appliance if the surface is cracked.
  • After the product is used, there is still residual heat on the surface of the heating element. Please cool it before cleaning to prevent burns.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION

There are two ways to fill the water tank: directly into the machine. by using for example a jug. or by removing the water tank.

  1. Filing without removing the tank:
    • Lift the water tank cover.
    • Fill the tank with cold fresh water.
    • The maximum capacity is 0.8 liter.
    • Replace the tank cover.
  2. Filing by removing the water tank:
    • Hold the water tank tilted to remove it from the machine.
    • Fill the tank up to Fill the tank up to the “MAX” mark with cold fresh water (the maximum capacity is 0.8 liter).
    • Slide the water tank slowly on water tank base, when the water tank outlet is inserted in the inlet receptacle, push firmly to lock the water tank.

Before using for the first time or after long pauses (e.g., holidays), the machine must be flushed. This short procedure can thoroughly flush and clean the internal pipes.

  • Press any function button to power on.
  • The light of buttons will become steady on when the machine is heated up.
  • Heating up time is approximately 35 seconds.
  • Before pressing the button, make sure that:
  • The handle is closed without a capsule inside.
  • The water tank is full.
  • The water tank is firmly in place, otherwise water may leak.
  • A large bowl (250ml size or above) is placed under the dispenser.
  • Open the handle when the flushing process has finished.
  • Empty the bowl.

ADAPTERS:
This machine uses multiple adapters, see below for information:

  1. Nespresso Capsules adapter
  2. Dolce Gusto capsules adapter
  3. Coffee powder adapter

USE

Nespresso® capsule

  • Open the handle.
  • Pull out the brewing basket for Nespresso® capsules.
  • Insert a capsule to the brewing basket.
  • Push in the brewing basket with capsule.
  • Close the handle.
  • Place a cup under the dispenser.
  • Press the desired cup size button only once.
  • The selected button will blink, and the machine will start brewing. When the brewing process is complete, dispensing will stop automatically when the default brewing volume is reached. This default setting volume can be adjusted to suit personal taste. Raise the handle and pull out the brewing basket to inject the used capsule into the container.
  • After pressing the button, the desired button led flash a few seconds first, then the brewing will start. The flash process is for the heating, this is the normal procedure.

DOLCE-GUSTO® CAPSULE

  • Open the handle.
  • Pull out the brewing basket for Dolce-Gusto® capsules.
  • Insert a capsule to the brewing basket.
  • Push in the brewing basket with capsule.
  • Close the handle.
  •  Place a cup under the dispenser.
  • Press the desired cup size button only once.
  • The selected button will blink, and the machine will start brewing. When the brewing process is complete, dispensing will stop automatically when the default brewing volume is reached. This default setting volume can be adjusted to suit personal taste. Raise the handle and pull out the brewing basket to inject the used capsule into the container.
  • After pressing the button, the desired button led flash a few seconds first, then the brewing will start. The flash process is for the heating, this is the normal procedure.

COFFEE POWDER

  • Open the handle.
  • Pull out the brewing basket for coffee power.
  • Place the coffee powder adapter into the brewing basket.
  • Put the coffee powder into the adapter and push firmly.
  • Push the brewing basket into the machine.
  • Close the handle.
  • Place a cup under the dispenser.
  • Press the desired cup size button only once.
  • The desired coffee button only once. the brewing process is complete, dispensing will stop automatically when the default brewing time is reaches. This default setting time can be adjusted to suit personal taste.
  • Raise the handle and pull out the brewing basket to inject the used coffee powder into the container.
  • After pressing the button, the desired button led flash a few seconds first. then the brewing will start. The flash process is for heating, this is the normal procedure.

AUTOMATICALLY POWER-OFF FUNCTION

  • The machine will automatically power off and go into energy saving mode when there is no operation within 9 minutes. Press any function button to activate the machine again.
  • Coffee volume setting
  • The amount of coffee can be changed by adjusting the default brewing time to suit personal taste.

PROGRAM-SUIT PERSONAL TASTE
Each coffee button can be programmed with a coffee volume for an individual cup size. The procedure for programming is the same for both coffee buttons.

  1. Prepare coffee as usual (see user manual) but keep the coffee button pressed for at least 3 seconds to start programming mode.
  2. Only release the button when the desired fill level is reached.

RESTORE THE ORIGINAL FACTORY DEFAULT COFFEE CUP VOLUME SETTING

  • Press all 3 buttons at the same time for 5 seconds in Ready State,2 beeps.
  • All the green led light flash for 5 seconds and back to the process “First use”. the” First use” Mode will see the red-light flashing, so please keep the water tank not empty.
  • Take out the capsule / ground coffee in brewing adapter.
  • Put back the brewing adapter into the machine.
  • Press the red-light button, the machine will fill up water.
  • Let water come out until the red light (flashing) turn to green light (flashing).
  • Machine will pre-heat around 35 seconds, the green light stop flashing, machine ready to brew again.

DESCALING PROCEDURE

If all the button flash in red and green alternatively during the normal use, that’s mean the machine needs to be descaling (see below picture). SBOX-

DESCALING PREPARATION:

  • Eject capsule or ground coffee from the adapter, re-insert the adapter into machine (please only insert the Nespresso adapter or the Ground coffee adapter for this process, other adapter is not suitable).
  • Remove and empty the water tank.
  • Place a container under the outlet (volume size: larger than 1-liter).
  • Fill the water tank with the descaler solution, obtained by diluting the descaler provided with water (fill the water tank up to the MAX line), re-insert the water tank to machine.
  • Plug-in the power cord of machine, press the small cup button and medium cup button at the same time for 5 seconds, small cup button lights on in green, large cup button flash in red and green alternatively, the machine is in descaling mode now (see below picture).SBOX-BARISTA-3In1-Multi-Capsule-Coffee-Maker-01 \(8\)
  • Press these two keys at the same time for 5 seconds
  • Large cup button flash in green/ red alternatively

1 ST DESCALING PHASE:

  • Step6: Press the small cup button, the small cup button green light off, large cup button keep flash in green/red alternatively.
  • Step 7: At the same time, the machine start pumping some amount of water and stopped automatically, after waiting 2.5 minutes, the machine will pump and wait again, totally repeat 8 times.
  • Step8: After 8 times pump and wait, machine will keep pumping water until water tank is empty, 1st descaling phase finished. Large cup button keep flash in green/red alternatively.

2ND DESCALING PHASE:

  • Step9: Remove and clean the water tank, fill with fresh water up to the MAX line again, re-insert to the machine.
  • Step10: Remove and clean the brew adapter, re-insert to the machine.
  • Step11: At this moment, the medium cup button lights on in green, large cup button flash in red and green alternatively (flashing faster than the 1st phase), the machine is into the 2nd phase. SBOX-BARISTA-3In1-Multi-Capsule-Coffee-Maker-01 \(9\)
  • Step9: Remove and clean the water tank, fill with fresh water up to the MAX line again, re-insert to the machine.
  • Step10: Remove and clean the brew adapter, re-insert to the machine.
  • Step11: At this moment, the medium cup button lights on in green, large cup button flash in red and green alternatively (flashing faster than the 1st phase), the machine is into the 2nd phase.

POWER OFF SETTING

Press Small Cup button + Large Cup button at the same time, then the machine will power off.

FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING
Totally reset of the machine:

  • Step1 : Switch OFF machine (plug out) and open handle
  • Step 2: Press and Hold Small cup and medium cup buttons
  • Step 3: Switch on (plug in), Beep once
  • Step 4: Release the buttons
  • Step 5: Close the handle, Beep twice
  • Step 6: Press Small cup medium cup +Large Cup these three buttons, long “Beep”
  • Step 7: To quit switch OFF machine (plug out)
  • Step 8: Turn on the machine (plug in); press any button, start from First use procedure.

“First Use” Mode to normal work

  • The” First use” Mode will see the red-light flashing, so please keep the water tank not empty.
  • Take out the capsule / ground coffee in brewing adapter.
  • Put back the brewing adapter into the machine.
  • Press the red-light button, the machine will fill up water.
  • Let water come out until the red light (flashing) turn to green light (flashing).
  • Machine will pre-heat around 35 seconds, the green light stop flashing, machine ready to brew again.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
No coffee is brewed -The water tank is empty. -Fill the water tank.

  • Step5 : Let water come out until the red light (flashing) turn to green light (flashing).
  • Step6: Machine will pre-heat around 35 seconds, the green light stop flashing, machine ready to brew again.

  • The warranty period for SBOX products is 36 months (on batteries 6 months) and begins on the day of being sold in the store
  • The warranty can only be claimed upon presentation of the original purchase invoice and a filed warranty paper with a stamp from the store it was bought at, and if the product has original packaging and all components and equipment
  • All malfunctioning of the product resulting from factory defects, that occur during the warranty period, and in the normal use of the product in compliance with all instructions will be removed. This warranty covers only defects in material and production.
  • If the product malfunctions during the warranty period, your SBOX distributor will give you the product (after which is checked by a professional) repaired or replaced• If the repair at the authorized service center is not completed within 30 days of being received at the service center, we will replace the product with a new one.
